Formula used to create new plot
Dear list users,
I was wondering if there is any way to know, for an open graphical peripheric, the instruction that was used to call it. For example, if I create a plot using
plot(runif(10))
is there any way to have the call returned to me? That would be especially usefull to know it there are any log axes, for example
thanks

routing incoming port 82
Hi,
I have two DSL line from the different provider connected to my Linux
Router Firewall. Server_A is behind the Linux Router Firewall.

I have the following IPTABLES command to make incoming access to Server
A''s web service throught port 82 as below: -

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Great Quentin :).
I've rerun the benchmarks comparing "-O0 -g" with "-O0 -g -mllvm -global-isel -mllvm -global-isel-abort=2" on r302453, on AArch64 Cortex-A57.
I indeed see almost no moves between GPR and FPR registers anymore (see details below for where I still see some).
On geomean, I see 13% slow down (down from 17% on my previous run).
On geomean, code size increase

[PATCH 1/4] pm/fan: drop the fan lock in fan_update() before rescheduling
From: Martin Peres <martin.peres at labri.fr>
This should fix a deadlock that has been reported to us where fan_update()
would hold the fan lock and try to grab the alarm_program_lock to reschedule
an update. On an other CPU, the alarm_program_lock would have been taken
before calling fan_update(), leading to a deadlock.

Ping an external server through a disabled provider.
Hi,
I''m using Shorewall and LSM to load-balance 3 ISPs.
My configuration works, but when an ISP is disabled, LSM is unable to ping from the associated interface.
I understand why it happens : when `shorewall disable isp1` is called, Shorewall flushes the routing table isp1, and removes the nexthop in the balance table.
So when I want to ping 8.8.8.8 from eth1, no rule allows it.

fromulation of random effects (nlme)
Dear all,
I have a problem formulating random effects when using the nlme package.
?nlme says that the random effects can be a formula or a list of formulae.
But when trying to do so, I run into trouble.
(R-1.2.2, nlme-3.1-10, Linux)
library(nlme)

Zero truncated Poisson distribution & R2WinBUGS
I am using a binomial mixture model to estimate abundance (N) and
detection probability (p) using simulated count data:
-Each site has a simulated abundance that follow a Poisson
distribution with lambda = 5
-There are 200 simulated sampled sites
-3 repeated counts at each site
- only 50 percent of the animals are counted during each count (i.e,
detection probability p =0.5, see codes)

censored counts and glmer/glmmADMB
dear R-users,
I have to model counts where all counts above some threshold
have been censored. In the same dataset I have too many zeroes for
a Poisson or even a negative binomial distribution to make
sense, so I would need a zero-inflated-censored negative binomial
family for use in glmer (or glmmADMB?). That seems not to exist.
my question is :
how could I add a custom-built family of

Wini MIDI on Ubuntu
Hello all,
I'm trying to run a synth editor (SY editor) under Wine on Ubuntu Gutsy.
The editor runs fine it seems but I can't get MIDI in out to work, the editor gives me an error midi device not properly configured.
I'm using the Edirol UM-2ex, and I selected ALSA under wine configuration - sound, and I can see UM2 for both MIDI in and out in the configuration. I also see UM2 for
