has_many and validates_associated
By trial and error I seem to arrive to the conclusion that
1. Validation recurses through has_many by default and
a root save! call raises an excepcion if some child no
matter how nested is fails validation
2. Validation does not recurse through has_one by default
and you can change this with validates_associated, in
which case exceptions behave like above

lattice: double y - problem changing axis color after doubleYScale
Hi,
I have had some troubles using doubleYScale. No matter what I try, I cant manage to change the color of the y-axis in the end. I have to produce a black and white plot. There is also something I do not understand regarding fontfamilyj="serif" when using it in:
strip=strip.custom()
Maybe someone has a better idea for defining which line and dots belong to which y-axis when not using

NNET re-building the model
Hello,
I've been working with "nnet" and now I'd like to use the weigths, from
the fitted model, to iterpret some of variables impornatce.
I used the following command:
mts <- nnet(y=Y,x=X,size =4, rang = 0.1,
decay = 5e-4, maxit = 5000,linout=TRUE)
X is (m x n) Y is (m x 1)
And then I get the coeficients by:
Wts<-coef(mts)
b->h1 i1->h1

actionmailler corrupting emails
Hi All,
I have a problem with actionmailer corrupting my html emails. It is
adding the character ''3D'' before any quotes (single or double) in my
source and smattering ''='' characters throughout as well. Very
strange. Here''s an example from one of the emails:

Getting polygons from contiguous grid cells having same value in sp
I have been using the sp package to deal with gridded data. I would
like to know how to extract the vertices (x,y) of polygons that outline
areas of like-valued cells in a grid. Here is a simple 3x3 grid:
2 2 1
1 2 1
1 1 3
x <- c(1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3) # define a 3 x 3 array of points
y <- c(1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3)
h <- SpatialPoints(cbind(x,y)) # make these an sp object of the points

[LLVMdev] Letter-spacing in Sphinx CSS?
Sean and Michael,
Thank you for looking at this. I removed letter-spacing in r164921.
The h2/h3 issue could be resolved by making the h2 font slightly
bigger. Or we could try to copy Wikipedia's approach by using
different formatting for different levels (for example, we could
remove the background rectangle from h3 and lower, but instead make
them bold).
