Warning message
Hello,
I want to draw a histogram of the mean of sample observations drawn from multivariate t distribution. I am getting the following error corresponding to the code I used. Though I am getting the graph, but I am curious to know the warning message.
Warning messages:

NaNS Error Message
Hi,
I'm using R to do a series of calculation and I have gotten several
warnings that say "NaNS produced". Whatever I could read on line gives me
an idea that this warning is produced when the number is use is a negative
log or otherwise mathematically problematic.
I'm getting this error while using factorial() and gamma () on strictly
positive numbers (always greater than zero).

drive-backup command permission denied.. and need some clarification
Hi
* Trying to get drive-backup command, getting permission denied. :(
sudo virsh qemu-monitor-command --hmp my-instance --cmd
drive_backup drive-virtio-disk0 /tmp/foo.vda.img
Looks like apparmor issue. What can I modify to make this work ?

Changing the :path and :url options of has_attached_file in paperclip
Hello,
I am using the paperclip plugin to upload images and it works
absolutely fine.
I intend to save my uploaded images to C:\Application_name\public
folder. Accordingly, with some study over the i-net, I changed
the :path option of has_attached_file to -
:path => "C:/Application_name/
public/:class/:attachment/:id/:style_:basename.:extension"
Now, the files are being saved to

Ouch. qemu-monitor-command is explicitly unsupported, precisely because
it goes behind libvirt's back and is likely to get libvirt confused.

Semantics of "virsh migrate --copy-storage-all" vs. --copy-storage-inc
Hello,
what is really the difference between
virsh migrate --copy-storage-all
and
virsh migrate --copy-storage-inc
?
There are some documents talking about NBD snapshots, but the user
visible semantics are incomplete.
Where does the incremental stuff happen?
Does it require qcow2 files?
Does it work with raw files?
Does "--copy-storage-inc" require existing snapshots?

Multiple hist(ograms) - One plot
Hello,
I am trying to plot multiple histograms with the same scales, etc into one
plot. The commands below produce a 3 page PDF with each histogram occupying
the upper right quadrant. And use slightly different scales on the X and Y
axes.

[ARM] Register pressure with -mthumb forces register reload before each call
Hi,
Compiling attached test-case, which is reduced version of of
uECC_shared_secret from tinycrypt library [1], with
--target=arm-linux-gnueabi -march=armv6-m -Oz -S
results in reloading of register holding function's address before
every call to blx:
ldr r3, .LCPI0_0
blx r3
mov r0, r6
mov r1, r5
mov r2, r4

[ARM] Register pressure with -mthumb forces register reload before each call
Hi,
I have attached WIP patch for adding foldMemoryOperand to Thumb1InstrInfo.
For the following case:
void f(int x, int y, int z)
{
void bar(int, int, int);
bar(x, y, z);
bar(x, z, y);
bar(y, x, z);
bar(y, y, x);
}
it calls foldMemoryOperand twice, and thus converts two calls from blx to bl.
callMI->dump() shows the function name "bar" correctly, however in

Conditional Distribution of MVN variates
Hi Folks,
Given k RVs with MVN distribution N(mu,S) (S a kxk covariance matrix),
let (w.l.o.g.) X1 denote the first r of them, and X2 the last (k-r).
Likewise, let mu1 and mu2 denote their respective expectations.
Then, of course, the expectation of X2 given X1=x1 is
mu2 + S21*inv(S22)*(x1 - mu1)
and the covariance matrix of X2 given X1=x2 is
S22 - S21*inv(X11)*S12
where Sij is the

Lattice: combine the same strip?
Hello R helpers,
I am producing a figure with dual strips, i.e., x~y | S1 + S2, where S1 and
S2 are two strips. For example, in figure 2.1 at
http://lmdvr.r-forge.r-project.org/figures/figures.html.
In this case, I would like to combine the the top strip, since all three
pictures in the same row have the same level based on the first strip. In
other words, instead of

Paperclip upload fails sometimes
Hello,
My application is a rails-postgresql application which uses paperclip
("ImageMagick-6.5.4-10-Q16-windows-dll.exe" installed on WinXP).
The application''s image uploading feature works consistently right on
my development PC, however it is inconsistent on a different server PC
(used for deployment).
There are certain observations below.

Multivariate regression method
Hi Folks,
Thanks to several people's suggestions and clarifications,
I think I have implemented a function which computes the
conditional mean and covariance matrix of a subset of the
dimensions of an MV-normal variable, given the values on the
other dimensions (these conditioning value can be presented
as a matrix, to deal with several cases at once).
The code is below, for anyone who would

Time = rep(c(0,7,14,21), 11),
Resp = valor
)
boxplot(Resp~Groups, order=T)
doesn't work.
