Defining a viewport scale in {Grid}
Am just feeling my way into the grid library, and cannot figure out how to define the plot limits. 3/5 of the example polygons below plot in the default 0-1 range viewport. But when I try to redefine the viewport the polygons plot in the same places. I also get the same result without employing push/pop. (As you can see from the scale I'm trying to introduce, I want to plot map polygons.)

ctree
Hello, I plotted a nice tree with "ctree" . It shows 3 nodes with the prediction of my 2 groups. (see picture) Unfortunately I need a larger scale to read the exact prediction of my groups to get the specificity and sensitivity. I tried to change the scale with "axis" but it didn't work, my guess because it's not a normal graph with x and y axis. Has someone an idea

Forestplot () box size question
Hi All, I have been able to modify the x-axis to start at zero by adding xlow and xhigh parameters; that was pretty simple. I have been unable to find the location of the code that would turn off the information weighting of the box size (I have smaller randomized trials getting less weight than a much larger non-randomized trial). Hello list, When using the grid package in R 1.60 under windows grid.lines and grid.line.to seem not to use the coordinate system as defined by the current viewport whereas grin.points does. plot a vertical column of colored rectangles
Hi, I've been really struggling with this. If I have a vector like dat <- c(0,0,0,0,1,1,1,0,0,0,1,1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0) I want to plot each element as a colored rectangle (red=1, blue=1) in the right order, so they all stack up forming a vertical column on the graph. Sort of like a building, with each floor in the appropriate color. Any ideas? I've tried using ggplot and geom_tile, but my

grid.ls() after grid.remove() fails
Dr Murrell and others, It seems grid.ls() fails after any use of grid.remove(). Can I create a barchart in lattice with clusters of adjacent bars, which is possible with barplot() when beside=TRUE? mob(party) formula question
I try tu use mob() with my data.frame ('data.frame': 288 obs. of 81 variables; factors, numerics and ordered factors) My response is a binary variable and I should use for modelling a logistic regression (family=binomial). Lattice device page options-margins
I am using lattice to make figures as pdfs: trellis.device(device = "pdf",file = "Figure6.pdf",color = FALSE) I need to specify some blank space on the left-hand margins (the pages will be bound so we need about 0.5 inch)). I have tried a number of solutions but none seems to work (e.g. par.set). Can this be done when initiating the plotting device? Or is the some other way

Bug in viewport handling?
Hi, Is the following an (unknown) bug? Rhythmbox (RB) has an option for using a icon-tray. Restoring/minimizing to the tray in combination with switching viewports (VP) seems to confuse compiz.
