[LLVMdev] max/min intrinsics
I have been working on a patch to add support for max/min reductions in LoopVectorize. One of the comments that came up in review is that the implementation could be simplified (and less fragile) if max and min intrinsics were recognized rather than looking for compare-select sequences. The suggestion was to change compare-selects into max and min intrinsic calls during instcombine. The

[RFC PATCH] allow connecting to xenconsole from remote hosts
The attached patch makes xenconsole send and receive console messages over a remote connection, instead of via stdin/stdout - if given the --remote switch. It is useful for proxy''ing real console message or other protocol messages (such as gdb) between dom0 and a remote host. We''re currently using it for proxying gdb between gdbstub in a partition that talks gdb over the console

Hi Val, My fault - I assumed that the NA would be first in the result produced by "unique": mydat <- read.table(textConnection("Col1 Col2 col3 Z1 K1 K2 Z2 NA NA Z3 X1 NA Z4 Y1 W1"),header = TRUE,stringsAsFactors=FALSE) val23<-unique(unlist(mydat[,c("Col2","col3")])) napos<-which(is.na(val23)) preval<-data.frame(Col1=val23[-napos],

HI Jim and all, I want to put one more condition. Include col2 and col3 if they are not in col1. Here is the data mydat <- read.table(textConnection("Col1 Col2 col3 K2 X1 NA Z1 K1 K2 Z2 NA NA Z3 X1 NA Z4 Y1 W1"),header = TRUE,stringsAsFactors=FALSE) The desired out put would be Col1 Col2 col3 1 X1 0 0 2 K1 0 0 3 Y1 0 0 4 W1 0 0 6 K2 X1

hi Val, Your problem seems to be that the data are read in as a factor. The simplest way I can think of to get around this is: mydat <- read.table(textConnection("Col1 Col2 col3 Z1 K1 K2 Z2 NA NA Z3 X1 NA Z4 Y1 W1"),header = TRUE,stringsAsFactors=FALSE) preval<-data.frame(Col1=unique(unlist(mydat[,c("Col2","col3")]))[-1], Col2=NA,col3=NA) rbind(preval, mydat)

[LLVMdev] Script for stressing llc
The only precedent I have seen in recent years for shell scripts is the (absolutely insanely amazingly well-written) utils/TableGen/tdtags. Ignoring the issue of whether this kind of tool belongs in the repo, IMO it would be nice if you used tdtags as a "template" for this script; there's a large amount of shell-fu (not clever "tricks", but actual "how to make a

Jim has been exceedingly patient (and may well continue to be so), but this smells like "failure to launch". At what point will you start showing your (failed) attempts at solving your own problems so we can help you work on your specific weaknesses and become self-sufficient? -- Sent from my phone. How can I store the results
Dear R users, I am running a R code which gives me 10 columns and 160 rows. I need to run the code for 100 times and each time I need to store the results in a single file. I do not know how can I store them in a single file without over writting the results? Thanks Alex [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

[LLVMdev] Gentoo ebuild of LLVM
Hi guys, there are few issues concerning LLVM and Gento Linux below. 1. Gentoo encourages to think of smarter packaging. Oversimplified, but... there are at least three audiences using LLVM: - application users - developers *using* LLVM in their projects - developers *changing* LLVM sources. Application users are not interested in LLVM, they are rather interested to have their favorite

Rank of matrix
Dear all, Rank of a matrix depends on which factors? Only on rows or coumns? or both ? If there is a collinearlity in the variables ( columns ) does it effects the rank? > X<-matrix((rnorm(10000)),50) > dim(X) [1] 50 200 > qr(X)$rank [1] 50 > X[,2]<-X[,30] > qr(X)$rank [1] 50 > X[10,]<-X[7,] > qr(X)$rank [1] 49 Thanks Alex [[alternative HTML

Elastic net in R (enet package)
Dear R users, I am using "enet" package in R for applying "elastic net" method. In elastic net, two penalities are applied one is lambda1 for LASSO and lambda2 for ridge ( zou, 2005) penalty. But while running the analysis, I realised tht, I optimised only one lambda. ( even when I looked at the example in R, they used only one penality) So, I am

[LLVMdev] Script for stressing llc
