Post-Hoc Test for Kruskal-Wallis Rank Sum Test
Hi list,
I would like to know if there is a way in R to execute a post-hoc test
(factor levels comparison, like Tukey for ANOVA) of a non-parametric
analysis of variance (kruskal.test() function object). I was looking for
something like the Dunn Test. I’ve searched the internet but nothing seemed
to define a way to it.
Do You have any suggestion? Other equivalent test maybe!

Permutation exact test to compare related series
I all,
is there a way with R to perform an exact permutation test to replace the
wilcoxon test to compare paired series and/or to perform pairwise multiple
comparisons for related series after a Friedman test ?
Thanks

Thanks in advance

ttda on R 2.1.1: error
Hello,
I'm trying to use the package ttda, wich is involved in text analysis,
for my own data about answers in a company survey.
I've installed it, as well as ispell, but when trying to use an example:
> zz <- file("stupid.txt", "w") # build a data file
> cat("{comment - stupid data file} \n" , file = zz)

Regular Expressions
Hi,
Is there a way to use regular expressions to capture two or more words in a
sentence? For example, I wish to to find all the lines that have the words "thomas",
"perl", and "program", such as "thomas uses a program called perl", or "perl is a
program that thomas uses", etc.
I'm sure this is a very easy task, I would greatly appreciate

bugfix: indeterministic file choice from multiple sources
Hello,
some time ago I reported a bug, where we saw indeterministic behaviour of
rsync (all versions since 2.5), when having the same file appearing in
multiple sources. Sometimes the file in the first source was copied, other
times the file was copied from one of the other sources.
The attached mstest.tgz contains a test to reproduce the behaviour under
darwin and solaris.
The bug did

bug (filelist) for platforms solaris and darwin (macosx) and *not* linuxi386
I have found a nasty bug when a file, which is in some of many sources,
shall be copied to a target.
The linux-Version works well but rsync 2.5.{2|5|6} under solaris9 (gcc
2.95.3) and darwin (gcc 3.1) do not. The decision which file (out of which
src) shall be copied depends on the number of src dirs given on the command
line.
This bug bytes us very hard, because we decided to rely on rsync

[LLVMdev] Wierd behavior from getAnalysis<>
Hello,
I am seeing a weird behavior from getAnalysis<>. I seem to not get back a
valid object type, which leads to other errors.
when I am executing the following line:
InsertDummyTargsPass& dt = getAnalysis<InsertDummyTargsPass>();
I am apparently getting back an object of type llvm::Pass;
This is how I checked it: with the following code I create the Object print
