Speex seek with high precision
Hello Conrad, I'm trying to seek the way you told but I'm facing a problem. ogg_page_packets returns 164 and following code returns 189. Shouldn't it be the same, what does that means ? int res; while (true) { res = ogg_stream_packetout(&os, &op); if (res == 1) nPackets++; if (res == -1)

adding additional information to histogram
Hi, I am a beginner with R, and I think the answer to my question will seem obvious, but after searching and trying without success I've decided to post to the list. I am working with data loaded from a csv filewith these fields: order_id, item_value As an order can have multiple items, an order_id may be present multiple times in the CSV. I managed to compute the total value and the

[PATCH v3] nouveau/dmem: handle kcalloc() allocation failure
The kcalloc() in nouveau_dmem_evict_chunk() will return null if the physical memory has run out. As a result, if we dereference src_pfns, dst_pfns or dma_addrs, the null pointer dereference bugs will happen. Moreover, the GPU is going away. If the kcalloc() fails, we could not evict all pages mapping a chunk. So this patch adds a __GFP_NOFAIL flag in kcalloc(). Finally, as there is no need to

[PATCH 0/4] HMM tests and minor fixes
These changes are based on Jason's latest hmm branch. Patch 1 was previously posted here [1] but was dropped from the orginal series. Hopefully, the tests will reduce concerns about edge conditions. I'm sure more tests could be usefully added but I thought this was a good starting point. [1] https://lore.kernel.org/linux-mm/20190726005650.2566-6-rcampbell at nvidia.com/ Ralph Campbell

[PATCH] KVM virtio balloon driver
Hi Rusty, It was agreed that the balloon driver should be merged through the virtio tree, so here it goes. It depends on the config_changed patch posted earlier. ----- Following patch adds the KVM balloon driver. Changes from last version: - Get rid of global variables/structure - Use page->lru to link ballooned pages - Use dev_dbg/dev_printk - Proper kthread_should_stop handling - Move

Speex seek with high precision
Hello, This is the code, it's a little crap but only to see if it works. I assume rate = 16000 and frame_size = 320. if (this->seek_to != -1) // SKIP { ogg_int64_t max_units; //max_units = speex_seek(fin, this->seek_to, 0, rate); int nPages = 0; int nPackets = 0; // Pone el cursor en la posici?n inicial del fichero fseek(fin, 0, SEEK_SET);

[PATCH v6 0/6] mm/hmm/test: add self tests for HMM
This series adds new functions to the mmu interval notifier API to allow device drivers with MMUs to dynamically mirror a process' page tables based on device faults and invalidation callbacks. The Nouveau driver is updated to use the extended API and a set of stand alone self tests is added to help validate and maintain correctness. The patches are based on linux-5.5.0-rc6 and are for

[PATCH] nouveau/hmm: map pages after migration
When memory is migrated to the GPU it is likely to be accessed by GPU code soon afterwards. Instead of waiting for a GPU fault, map the migrated memory into the GPU page tables with the same access permissions as the source CPU page table entries. This preserves copy on write semantics. puppet dashboard inventory
I have a puppet master install which uses puppetdb. I also have puppet dashboard installed with the inventory service running. I want multiple puppet masters using a single puppetDB server. Puppetdb is installed on separate vm. How can I get the dashboard inventory to use the puppetdb server to get the inventory records? Where do I configure the dashboard inventory so it uses puppetdb? [PATCH 0/2] drm/gk20a: FB fixes
Fix a very shameful memory leak and a compilation error due to the use of non-exported CMA functions. The workaround for the latter is not really elegant (replace the CMA functions by a runtime failure if we are compiled as a module), but is temporary and still an improvement over the current situation (compile error). turn hmm migrate_vma upside down v2
Hi Jérôme, Ben and Jason, below is a series against the hmm tree which starts revamping the migrate_vma functionality. The prime idea is to export three slightly lower level functions and thus avoid the need for migrate_vma_ops callbacks. Memory Read Only Enforcement: VMM assisted kernel rootkit mitigation for KVM V4
Here is change log from V3 To V4: - Fixing spelling/grammar mistakes suggested by Randy Dunlap - Changing the hypercall interface to be able to process multiple pages per one hypercall also suggested by Randy Dunlap. It turns out that this will save lots of vmexist/memory slot flushes when protecting many pages. [PATCH RFC V4 1/3] KVM: X86: Memory ROE documentation [PATCH RFC V4 2/3] KVM:
