Theme wanted for new Rails CMS
Hi all,
I just finished building a CMS (open source, MIT license, same as RoR)
that is aimed at people with portfolios: graphic designers,
photographers, web developers, etc. Since this fits the Rails
demographic well, and I plan to continue actively developing the
project, I expect it to be a hit. Some features:
* 100% semantic XHTML
* Built on Ruby on Rails
* AJAXified administration

Prototype error - iterator is not a function
I''m starting to learn to use Prototype (v1.5.1.1) along with Mootools.
However I keep bumping into the same problem:
All of the inserts result in the error "iterator is not a function" at
line 542 of Prototype
memo = iterator(memo, value, index);
Am I missing something obvious here? I''m wondering if there''s an
incompatibility between Prototype and Domino

No way to indent text?
How could one indent (not quote) a block of text?
This is commonly done in Wikipedia with one or more colons at the
beginning of the line, and is very handy for threaded discussions.
An example is at

rake spec controller test output hideus.
Is there any way to change the output of rake spec fails?
The errors are just totally over the top ugly and not helpful. First
of all the ruby -Ilib line always comes before each test and I find it
distracting. But if an error occurs on something that is not nil it
just gives me the entire contents of that object and that is no small
matter when the object is a HTTP request response.

R and HTTP get 'has file changed'
Is there a way, maybe using Duncan TL's RCurl, to efficiently test whether
an URL such as
http://$CRAN/src/contrib/
has changed? I.e. one way is via a test of a page in that directory as per
(sorry about the long line, and this would be on Linux with links and awk
installed)
> strptime(system("links -width 160 -dump http://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/ | awk

Reading data from a text file conditionally skipping lines
Hi,
It would be better to give an example.
If your dataset is like the one attached:
con<-file("Trial1.txt")
?Lines1<- readLines(con)
?close(con)
#If the data you wanted to extract is numeric and the header and footer are characters,
dat1<-read.table(text=Lines1[-grep("[A-Za-z]",Lines1)],sep="\t",header=FALSE)
dat1

Magari
per lei e' uno dei tanti, ma per me e' l'unico!".

Should lld support binary output ("--oformat binary")?
One remaining blocking issue for linking FreeBSD with lld is the
inability to build the bootloader components. We have a patch[1] in
review to address one of the problems by switching to using a linker
script instead of GNU ld's -N option. Another issue is that some
bootloader components are created by the linker directly as binary
objects, using --oformat binary. (Other bootloader components

cool components in the form
Is there a easy way to add components like:
http://www.dynarch.com/projects/calendar/
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/example_full.php?example=true
in ruby forms, by plugins or whatever?
Thank you

Spacewalk? Local repo? Cache?
I have a mix of CentOS 5, 6, and now 7 servers at work. There are enough of them now that it is starting to make sense for them to get updates from an internal source.
I've seen RHN Satellite in years past. It looks like it may be a way to allow Windows admins here (familiar with WSUS) to update Linux boxes. A local repo might be easier to set up, but (as with Spacewalk) it seems like

RESEND [Xen-unstable][Qemu-xen] HVM Guest reading of Expansion ROM from passthroughed PCI device returns data from emulated VGA rom
*RESEND* due to exceeding the mailinglists limit for attachment size.
Hi,
I''m trying to get secondary vga-passthrough on a HVM guest to work with a AMD HD6570 and the native kernel radeon driver and kernel modesetting.
So the guest still gets the emulated stdvga or cirrus device(used in my case here) as primary/boot vga adapter.
- When i don''t passthrough the radeon card, the
