SAS Macros for R Users Only
I think SAS Macros has capability to call R, and execute it without it
being in the picture anywhere.
So you can use SAS Macros in a file called R.sas
In this you can create a macro called %Describe that can call R , load Hmisc
,run the describe function
Note you will need repeated use of %put in this %describe for the mapping
to take place
Use %INCLUDE to include that file in all SAS

R Textbook for SAS and SPSS Users
Dear Lists,
I got the chance to review Bob Muenchen's book - R for SAS and SPSS users.
While my detailed review is online at www.decisionstats.com, the book is a
welcome addition in R Textbooks for beginners and an especially nice one for
people who have experience in SAS and /or SPSS languages.
AT 50 USD, it's reasonably priced for all geographies (;) , and quite handy

have spent almost that much on earth.
So this is more like a fan blog interview. I thought it would be of use to
people curious about R, or even SAS , or SPSS if they have not worked on
either of these packages before.

Upgrade from Centos 4.4 to Centos 5
Hi,
Is there a yum way to upgrade from CentOS 4.4 to CentOS 5?
Or I just need to download the installation CDs and upgrade using
them, as I did many times with Fedora.
best regards,
