Bootstrap
Hi listers,
I've been work on a bootstrap estimator and I don't know how to make a
certain manipulation at the data.
As an example I have the following data and samples... I need now to
identify the vector in wich I sampled the id, I mean that I have to merge
the files having the key as the id of the samples in order to find the
vector that were selected.
Thanks in advance,

MapCreate6
Ok with a help from Bugzilla I got MapCreate6 to run with wine.
Now the issue is with how wine handles USB SD card readers. MapCreate uses its own SD card reader to register SD cards for copy protection and it will not see the card reader at all.

format numbers into percentages
Hi,
I am currently using the following to formate numbers into percentages:
x=0.00112
paste(round(x*100,2),"%",sep="")
I am wondering if there is a built in R function that does the same. Does
anyone know?
Thanks,

Multiple phones when one is unregistered
I have an extension that looks like this:
exten => 5555551111,1,Verbose(Door buzzer calling)
same => n,Dial(SIP/user1&SIP/user2&SIP/user3)
The idea is that any of the three users can answer the phone to let
someone in. The problem is that if, say, user2 unplugs his phone then
the call immediately goes to his voice mail and the other two do not
have the ability to open the door.

GLM, LMER, GEE interpretation
Hi, my dependent variable is a proportion ("prob.bind"), and the independent
variables are factors for group membership ("group") and a covariate
("capacity"). I am interested in the effects of group, capacity, and their
interaction. Each subject is observed on all (4) levels of capacity (I use
capacity as a covariate because the effect of this variable is normatively

HTTP Auth 401 Even on Valid Login
I can''t understand why authenticate_or_request_with_http_basic keeps
failing even though I am entering the correct info.
If I try to access /admin/items/new, I enter the correct info but I
keep getting prompted.
The strange part is that when I cancel out, I get "HTTP Basic: Acce".
Here''s the controllers:

nls fails to return correlation matrix (PR#8127)
Full_Name: Carsten Urbach
Version: 2.1.1 (2005-06-20)
OS: Linux
Submission from: (NULL) (141.34.5.241)
I observed one case where nls failed to return the correlation matrix, while the
parameter estimates were computed correctly. In the follwing I include all the
commands leading to this problem. R was started with 'R --vanilla':

If we''ve abandoned the idea of putting the number of redundant blocks
into the top bits of the type bitmask (and I hope we have), then we''re
fairly much there. Current code is at:

Enable Contributions Through Pull-request For LLVM
I don't intend to weigh in on either side, but just give a perspective on a
few questions asked.

as the workflow, since it makes "fork" and "branch" sound like difficult
operations. This sounds akin to thinking that someone would reclone the svn

Securing Asterisk
I beg to differ. Digium is hiding from the real world and somebody is
going take the software and run with it. My customers lost in excess
of $50.000 and cut my pay in half, because of hackers. The hackers
figured out how to scan every asterisk for weak passwords or open
ports, and bang them real good. We need two things: a) disable in
sip.conf the reply for INVITES that have wrong user
