Nelson-Aalen estimator in R
Hi, I am taking a survival class. Recently I need to do the Nelson-Aalen estimtor in R. I searched through the R help manual and internet, but could not find such a R function. I tried another way by calculating the Kaplan-Meier estimator and take -log(S). However, the function only provides the summary of KM estimator but no estimated values. Could you please help me with this? I would

Nelson-Aalen estimator of cumulative hazard
Hi, I am computing the Nelson-Aalen (NA) estimate of baseline cumulative hazard in two different ways using the "survival" package. I am expecting that they should be identical. However, they are not. Their difference is a monotonically increasing with time. This difference is probably not large to make any impact in the application, but is annoyingly non-trivial for me to just

Nelson-Aalen Estimator in R: Error Message
Hard to tell from the info you are giving us. I assume this regards the "mice" package? One way to proceed is to set options(error=recover) which will dump you into the browser() environment when the error occurs and you can oka around and see what the value of variables was at the point of the error. This could give you a clue about what is going on. -pd > On 22 May 2018, at 15:29

Nelson-Aalen Estimator in R: Error Message
Dear all, Currently, I am doing a research project about serum sodium levels and falling. I am doing my analysis in R. I am performing the multiple imputation right now. I want to perform a survival analysis later, but therefore I need to specify the Nelson-Aalen estimator. My dataset is called DF1, the event indicator is Falls and the time variable is Time. The code that I use is as follows:

partial matching and dots?
I'm writing a new predict method and would like to be able to pass an argument called "se" via the "..." mechanism. However, predict has a "se.fit" argument that wants to interpret my specification of "se" as a partially matched version of se.fit. Surely there a standard treatment for this ailment, but I can't seem to find it. url:

breslow estimator for cumulative hazard function
Dear R-users, I am checking the proportional hazard assumption of a cox model for a given covariate, let say Z1, after adjusting for other relavent covariates in the model. To this end, I fitted cox model stratified on the discrete values of Z1 and try to get beslow estimator for the baseline cumulative hazard function (H(t)) in each stratum. As far as i know, if the proportionality assumption

[newbie] Cox Baseline Hazard
Hello everybody. First of all, I would like to present myself. I'm a french student in public health and I like statistics though I'm not that good in mathematics (but I try to catch up). I've discovered R recently while trying to find a statistical program in order to avoid rebooting my computer under windows when I need to do some statistical work. And here is my first question.

[ADV/ANN] Easy recurring billing with Authorize.net
I have just put out an update to the SaaS Rails Kit, a sample Rails application that implements recurring billing. This update adds support for the Authorize.net payment gateway. With the Rails Kit and Authorize.net CIM, you get a complete and very flexible subscription billing system that you can use as a starting point for building your software-as-a-service Rails application, so you can skip

Every other week recurring event
I have the code for computing a weekly event: (start_date..end_date).select{|d| d.wday == wday} but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for using this to figure out a recurring event for every other week. Is it possible to somehow specify every other within the .select method? Any other implementation ideas? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message

Authorize.net and recurring payments
Has anyone successfully setup recurring payments with Authorize.net? I''ve seen posted here that their API doesn''t really support this, but it appears they do. I''m under the understanding that you bill the card once then get a transaction ID that you can use each month (or whatever) to bill that card again. This way, you don''t store the card number

Serious recurring problem with Samba 2.2.7
Hey guys, I'm new to watching the list, and while I'll be looking through the archives as soon as I'm done sending this, I thought I ought to post my problem anyway. I'm running 2.2.7 on two machines on my network, with a 2k server running WINS. Periodically, when samba is running, network traffic to various places dies. It gets restored, and it dies, randomly. Most of the time,
