Calculate monthly means
I am trying to calculate monthly means by year of phosphates and nitrates from a multi year data set. Can anybody help me out with the most effective way to do this? My data looks like this: Collection_Date                   Test.Name              Value 2000-01-24 17:00:00            Phosphate               0.108 2000-01-24 17:00:00            Nitrate                     0.037 2001-11-12

comparison operator, decimals, and signif()
Hi, I recently spent quite a bit of time trouble shooting a function that I had written only to discover that the problem I was having was with the comparison operator. I assumed that the following would return TRUE: > testMean <- 82.8 + 0.1 > testMean [1] 82.9 > testMean == 82.9 [1] FALSE Apparently this has to do with deciml places. Look: > newTest <- 82.0 > newTest [1]

Last call for fixes: Releasing tomorrow
I think I''ve got every fix except one in that''s going to make it into grover, which I''ll hopefully be releasing tomorrow. I plan on adding Tim Stoop''s patches for home directory management (#432), but everything else is getting pushed to the next release at this point. I''ve fixed all of the major bugs, or at least I think I have. If

how to delete all document from the DB (without deleting the DB itself)
Hello, I'm still testing PHP5 bindings and I could'nt find a way to delete all documents from a DB without deleting other informations stored in the DB such as synonyms. Since the process of adding synonyms is time consuming, I would like to use the same DB but restart my test without any document in the DB, is this possibile? I could'nt find a delete_all or a method like that, nor

Example input data with example output using relative pathway in vignette of R package?
I'm putting together an R package. I would like to show example code in the vignette, where example data files (included in the package) are used to generate an (example) output file. I read about using example data in Hadley Wickham's post ( http://r-pkgs.had.co.nz/data.html), and believe I should keep my example data as raw data, as it must be parsed to generate the output. So, I

[LLVMdev] [lld] Modeling ELF FileNodes/ControlNodes (Group's) in lld
I do think we have too many classes. I thought InputGraph was going to replace InputFiles. It seems link LinkerInput could be merged into FileNode. Originally InputFiles was the abstract interface that he Resolver used to see all the inputs. If InputGraph supported the methods forEachInitalAtom() and searchLibraries() then we could get rid of InputFiles and have the Resolver uses InputGraph

[lld] ObjFile::createRegular is oblivious of PendingComdat
I encountered a segfault when using lld to cross-compile for Windows (+MinGW) from Linux. The problem happens with objects built by gcc. The problem is that ObjFile::CreateRegular considers a PendingComdat to be valid (and later causes an illegal pointer dereference). The following patch fixes the crash: diff --git a/COFF/InputFiles.cpp b/COFF/InputFiles.cpp index 9e2345b0a..f47d612df 100644

[LLVMdev] [lld] Modeling ELF FileNodes/ControlNodes (Group's) in lld
Hi, With the inputGraph now, lld models command line options, input files as nodes in the InputGraph called InputElements. In the current approach, each InputElement is converted to a LinkerInput, which works if all lld deals with individual files. Dealing with ControlNodes (Groups), have a problem with it, on how to model that as a LinkerInput. Joerg/Me were chatting on the IRC about this

Can you upload a reproducer? You can create it using the /linkrepro flag. [LLVMdev] [lld] Modeling ELF FileNodes/ControlNodes (Group's) in lld
Hi Nick, These are the below modifications needed in lld to start processing groups :- 1) LinkerInput would be moved to FileNode that contains the following functions - getBuffer - takeBuffer - getPath 2) The driver will process the vector of InputElements and call /*process */on each of them. process() would create a lld::File object within the InputElement if its a

Renaming maildir files, UIDs and mail clients
Hi! First a little background: I'm thinking of compressing my Maildir's using dovecot's zlib support, and have run into a couple of problems. First of all, my files use the following formats: 1. 1260386673.000002.mbox:2,S 2. 1304920966.M241434P17342.mail,W=3152:2,S As you can see, both lack the S=<size> "basename flag", but the latter does have W=. Mocking User.find( :all, :limit => 10 )
Hi, I''m trying to setup a mock for my controller test but I can''t get it to recognise the mock. I use it "should find all users" do User.should_receive(:find).with( :all, :limit => 10 ).and_return([@user]) do_get end and in the controller @users = User.find(:all, :limit => 10 ) But this does not work. It gives me User expected :find with (:all)
