Hi, i wanna ask how is the status of the bind-9.12 Support? Does this works already? Because Samba wiki says 9.11 BIND Version Supported in Samba Version BIND 9.11 Samba 4.5.2 and later Because i want update my System, but gentoo do not provide bind-9.11 anymore. Fwd: mounting a windows share on a linux client using mount.cifs with encryption
Hello everyone, I'm trying to mount a CIFS share served by Windows 10 Samba with encryption. On the Windows server side, I made a regular share and told Windows via Powershell command Set-SmbServerConfiguration -EncryptData 1 to encrypt the data if possible, and via Set-SmbServerConfiguration -RejectUnencryptedAccess 1 to reject unencrypted connections instead of negotiating an unencrypted

cook's distance in weighted regression
I have a puzzle as to how R is computing Cook's distance in weighted linear regression. In this case cook's distance should be given not as in OLS case by h_ii*r_i^2/(1-hii)^2 divided by k*s^2 (1) (where r is plain unadjusted residual, k is number of parameters in model, etc. ) but rather by w_ii*h_ii*r_i^2/(1-hii)^2 divided by k*s^2,

Online Backup fails
Hai, As Rowland said also, your config looks better the we often see.. :-) I can only see one thing thats little off in bind is the auth-nxdomain. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_a_BIND_DNS_Server Shows auth-nxdomain yes; You ADDC is the Authoritive DNS server for your domains so i suggest turn it on. Problems in "plot.lm" with option "which=5"
Hi: I think I found an error in plot.lm with the option which=5, of course I can be wrong , as usually happen, but I had work on it for a while and show it to some other people that work with R, and so far I don't see what I can be interpreting wrong. I also worked over the plot.lm's code and change some lines to get what I call "the right plot", if any body is

finite mixture model (2-component Weibull): plotting Weibull components?
Dear Knowledgeable R Community Members, Please excuse my ignorance, I apologize in advance if this is an easy question, but I am a bit stumped and could use a little guidance. I have a finite mixture modeling problem -- for example, a 2-component Weibull mixture -- where the components have a large overlap, and I am trying to adapt the "mclust" package which concern to normal

darkice client for windows
oddcast DSP is what you want, it supports live input (called Advanced Recording) and does support streaming to Peercast...It currently does not support Vorbis metadata for live recording (since metadata for vorbis streaming is inserted into the ogg stream, as opposed to how it's done for mp3 in which the metadata is updated on the server via URL calls)... anyway, it's the closest thing to

weibull in R
Hi all I try to make a weibull survival analysis on R. I know make this on GLIM, and now I try to make the GLIM exercice GLEX8 on R to learning and compare the test. The variables are: time censor group bodymass In GLIM I make: $calc %s=1 $ to fit weibull rather than exponential $input %pcl weibull $ $macro model group*bodymass $endmac$ $use weibull t w %s $ Then, GLIM estimate an alpha for the

Estimating Weibull Distribution Parameters - very basic question
Hello, is there a quick way of estimating Weibull parameters for some data points that are assumed to be Weibull-distributed? I guess I'm just too lazy to set up a Maximum-Likelihood estimation... ...but maybe there is a simpler way? Thanks for any hint (and yes, I've read help(Weibull) ;) Kaspar Pflugshaupt -- Kaspar Pflugshaupt Geobotanical Institute ETH Zurich, Switzerland
