Get all X iterations in optim output when controls(trace=6)
Hi, I would like to get all X iterations in optim output in matrix form. I know about the follow approach: sink("reportOptim") optim( ......., control=list( trace=6,..........) ) sink() all_iterOptim <- readLines("reportOptim") unlink("reportOptim") all_iterOptim <- all_iterOptim[ grep( '^X', all_iterOptim ) ] ### TODO: the rest !!! :-) But it is very

Puppet/webrick benchmark
We haven''t been able to use mongrel for testing yet, but in order not to waste time, we did some performance testing with 1, 2 and 4 puppetmasterd/webrick processes. Attached is an HTML page (ripped from our wiki - not pretty, but reasonably readable) which describes the method and results. If someone feels like making some nice graphs, that would be great. If not, I''ll try to

Kompas/autocad perfomance
Good afternoon. Performance problems when opening drawings Kompas V13/autocad 2010 with resource Samba. When simply copying speed 11.2MB / s. And to read and write to Samba. Next I mount resource Samba, as a network ROM for Windows 7 Pro x64. When opening a drawing for editing , there a large number of small requests . Kompas / autocad not cache the file, and read his blocks , often and quickly.

Samba 4 fileserver perfomance
I have at home two centos boxes: Box A - centos 6.4. gui version Box B - centos 7.1. minimal version. They are connected to 100Mb router (both boxes have 100Mb network adapters). Box B has software raid 1 and sata II interfaces.?On box B samba4 is installed and I copy files to samba share ( from box A to box B). Network monitor (iptraf-ng) shows only 20000 kbps of this copying operation. That is

Samba 4 fileserver perfomance
Hello, Am 03.05.2015 um 17:38 schrieb ????????? ????????: > Thank you for your time. What network did you test it? > 100Mb or 1000Mb? I'm using 1Gbit here at home. With a 100Mbit connection it wouldn't be possible to reach transfer rates of 110MB/Sec. A realistic good transfer rate for a 100Mbit connection is just around 11 MB/Sec. Regards, Marc

Ask about arm-asm perfomance
How big is difference between encoding speeds of libspeex compiled with arm-asm, and without it? My application is written in EVC++, but there is no inline assembler, so I have to compile speex without arm-asm. But I still trying to find a way to use speex with arm-asm under my EVC++ application. I tried to compile speex with arm-asm under gcc (arm-wince-pe), but generated static link

Fixed Point Perfomance
Hello Developers, I am considering using SPEEX on an embedded processor that does not have a floating point unit. Does anybody have a SPEEX performance characterization on a fixed point processor? More specifically, I am interested in knowing how the MFLOPS values from Table 9.2 in the manual translate to fixed-point instructions when SPEEX is compiled with enable-fixed-point option. Any help

Tweaking Samba for Perfomance
I've got the following performance-problem. Especially large copies from the server to the client take a very long time to compleet. How can that be? Why is that so slow? Much slower than the same action from a Windows server. I use Redhat 6.0 / Samba 2.0.5a and Win95 as a client. Does anybody knows a good reference for optimizing a Samba Server? Diablo 3 - Perfomance was ok but it's not anymore.
Hello all, When i finally managed to run Diablo3 game thru wine, it was working perfect. No stuttering at all. I've finished the Diablo3 on normal level and now i'm playing it again on nightmare level - but i doubt that's releated to my problem. Since few days when i run diablo via wine i get incredible stuttering, the game is nearly unplayable but _nothing_ changed in wine's

UDP Perfomance tuning
Hi, We are running on 5.5 on a HP ProLiant DL360 G6. Kernel version is 2.6.18-194.17.1.el5 (we had also tested with the latest available kernel kernel-2.6.18-238.1.1.el5.x86_64) We running some performance tests using the "iperf" utility. We are seeing very bad and inconsistent performance on the UDP testing. The maximum we could get, was 440 Mbits/sec, and it varies from 250 to 440
