help with legacy R code
Hi there, Could somebody help me disect this legacy R script I inherited at work, I have two questions: 1. I've tried to upgrade our R version from 1.6.2 (yeah, I know), to R 2.0, but some of the lines in this script are not compatible with R 2.0, could someone help me figure out where the problem is? 2. the jpeg generated (attached) seems to be off on some of the data, is there a better way

[V2V PATCH v3 6/6] tests: add --block-driver option test
The test checks that the newly introduced --block-driver option doesn't break conversion. Basically its logic somewhat repeats test-v2v-i-disk.sh and test-v2v-in-place.sh, but with the new option being set. The checks it performs are: 1. Run disk-sourced conversion (-i disk) based on the phony windows.img and check that it completes (i.e. produces converted disk and corresponding

[V2V PATCH v3 0/6] Bring support for virtio-scsi back to Windows
Discussion on v2: https://listman.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2023-March/030987.html v2 -> v3: * Patch 2/6 ("convert_windows: add Inject_virtio_win.Virtio_SCSI as a possible block type"): omit "Inject_virtio_win." prefix in favor of type inference. Add a short commit message body; * Add tests/test-v2v-block-driver.sh testing the new "--block-driver"

latex \subfloat{} incompatible with sweave/knitr code
Dear all Are LaTeX \subfloat{} commands incompatible with Sweave code? I cannot get the following code to compile properly: \begin{table} \subfloat[asdfa]{<<>>= 2+2 @ } \caption{asdf} \end{table} If I replace the Sweave chunk with a random string or a table, the compilation works fine. Any ideas what happens? I hit the same trouble when running the code chunks through knitr.

pdf, pairs and subfloats
Hi there! I have found a trange problem with getting pairs()-plots to show properly in latex \subfloat environments. If i generate images of these plots with pdf() and include them in subfloats, they will either show up in grayscale, or sometimes the datapoints of the pairplots are missing. Mind you, the PDFs themselves are properly colored and look perfectly fine, both as pdf-image in acrobat

ggplot scale_size - is there any way to specify breaks?
Hi, I am plotting scores for students in a school using a command of the form qplot(x=Subject, y=Student, data=dataset, geom="point", size=Score) It lists the Subject factors on the x-axis and the Student factors on the y-axis - dots proportional to the Score are plotted at the resultant grid. It works just as I want. However, I want to plot a number of these graphs (eg. datasets from

how to label two figures in the same chunk independently with knitr
Dear R helpers, I am using knitr to run analysis with R and edit my document with Latex. I am wondering whether there is a way to include 2 or more pictures per chunk and being able to refer them in the text independently and eventually whether it is possible to give them different captions. Let me give you an example.Rnw: \documentclass{article} \title{Example} \author{FS} \begin{document}

DOE and interaction plot general question
This is a general question about Design of experiments. If i am not allowed to post general questions like this here please accept my apologies and ignore the question. I did a DOE with six factors in eight runs. I know i cannot check for interactions using this design, but i tried the interaction plot and it showed me many interactions. After this I foldover the design and ran the 8 runs to learn
