Horizontal color bar in filled.contour()
Hello.
I was wondering if it is possible to put the color bar (key) on the
bottom of the graph, like the "horizontal" toggle in image.plot, rather
than on the right side. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Stripping out textile markup
Hi,
I have several hundred pages of text, all carefully marked up with
textile, which I use redcloth to convert to html for display. Now I
find I need all these pages to alternatively output plain text - ie.
A-Za-z0-9 and simple punctuation only. Any suggestions on the best
way to do this? My only thought is to let redcloth do its stuff, and
then strip out the html tags - but it feels wrong.

Textile editor
Hello,
Is there any editor for textile?
Something which has buttons, and will auto insert textile code for marking
user inputs. (If possible displays a preview also.)
Thanks.

Textile/RedCloth and h() incompatible?
If a user enters the Textile-based code for an image, say:
!>graphic.png!
the textile() method will successfully render a right-float image. Now,
if I want to escape the user''s text using h(), the ''>'' is turned into an
&. Obviously, the image then fails to render in a browser. Is there
a work around for this?
I guess what I''m really asking

Escape pipe symbol in textile table
This is not really a RoR specific question but i figured some of you
might know the answer.
I''m trying to create a table in textile like this:
bc..
|@.@|Any character except new line (\n)|
|. @(a|b)@|a or b|
bc.
As you can see, on the second row in the first column I need to ouput a
pipe symbol(|). But obviously textile sees this as a column specifier
for the table.
I tried escaping

Textile advice
Hi all,
I am wander if there what would be the best way to convert HTML to
textile format. What I would like is to allow users to paste content
from clipboard, parse it, dump all that''s not allowed and format in it
textile (something similiar TinyMCE and rich text other editors do when
you paste from word).
I would like to hear if there is any parser or better way to do it.
Thanks

textile - redcloth - code block
I''m just getting into RedCloth and am struggling a bit with using the
pre and code tags.
Why do I need to use both? Is there a tag or way for me to extend
RedCloth to always use both pre and code with just one tag?

titles in textile
Any ideas on a good way to embed titles in a textile file?
I am creating a number of textile files that i convert, one-by-one to html.
I would really like to include the title in the file itself. I am talking
about the <title> tag in the <head> of the document. It would be easy to add
this in post processing based on the first h1 tag or the name of the file
itself, but i was wondering

Textile to LaTeX
Hello,
Is there a patch laying around somewhere to convert
Textile to LaTeX? (Instiki did/does this?)
Or, better yet, is RedCloth 3.1 still in the pipeline?
