Problem with coeftest using Newey West estimator
Hi,
I want to calculate the t- and p-values for a linear model using the Newey West estimator.
I tried this Code and it usually worked just fine:

> coeftest(oberlm, NeweyWest(oberlm, lag=2))
t test of coefficients:
Estimate Std. Error t value Pr(>|t|)

Problem with dummy variables controlling for years
Hello everybody,
I'm running a panel regression with dummy variables controlling for years.
While this works fine for most of my models, in some cases I get the error
message "In sqrt(diag(object$vcov)) : NaNs wurden erzeugt" and missing
results for some or all of my year dummies:

Hello Stephen,
I am happy that you help me. Thanks a million.
It is a good feeling that you confirm my assumption that dsvdis is
not able to deal with missing data, because it says me that I am not
completely incapable.
Okay now I have the problem what to do.
I used this function ´cause there is an option to weight columns
differently what I haven´t found in other functions.

as.numeric and as.character with locale using comma as separator
Dear all,
summary:
My LC_NUMERIC is changed from C to de_DE by library (qtbase).
[which shouldn't happen according to the warning when setting it back
manually].
I posted an issue at their github repository, but maybe the behaviour is
a bit more of general interest.
However, if LC_NUMERIC is changed, as.character () uses the decimal
separator that belongs to LC_NUMERIC (and not options

pagewise? (E.g. to make a break after the first page of output data and then
continue by putting a key on the console)
Thanks a lot.

Puppet 2.7.12 on Windows
Hi,
I posted an other problem with puppet and windows weeks ago.
With the new Version 2.7.12 those problems were fixed.
But now I don''t get puppet to work.
I installed puppet as explained here:
http://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/1/wiki/Puppet_Windows
It worked so far.
But when I start
puppet agent --test --waitforcert 10
I get the following error message:

DNS entry for resolving the DC
We already "solved" this by using the long form of the domain name, but
I want to learn if we should do something additional:
We had a mixed setup in the field, some PCs had a WINS server
configured, some not. We removed the WINS info from DHCP and saw no new
problems (we wanted to have things the same way on all clients).
Yesterday the local admin tried to join a new PC and entered
