confidence intervals for y predicted in non linear regression
Hi, I´m trying to plot a nonlinear regresion with the confidence bands for
the curve obtained, similar to what nlintool or nlpredci functions in Matlab
does, but I no figure how to. In nls the option is there but not implemented
yet.
Is there a plan to implement the in a relative near future?
Thanks in advance, Florencio

question: DLL or EXE from R procedures
Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to create an DLL or EXE file performing R procedures. Instead of running R, reading data and calling some procedures, I would like to use R functions in the following way: "C:\linearRegression.exe data.txt" which would produce let's say file "output.txt" with the results. Is there some way how to do it?
Thanks a lot. Pavel Vanecek

combine lattice plot and standard R plot
Dear R users,
I would like to combine lattice plot (xyplot) and standard R plot (plot and plotCI) in an unique figure.
I use the function "par()" to combine plot and plotCI and I use the function "print()" to combine xyplot. I tried to use these functions to combine xyplot and plotCI and plots but they do not work. Does anybody know how I can do this?
Thank you very much in

Blank DateTime versus Nil DateTime
Hi!
These days I have been having trouble with a test that tried to test
DateTime functionality. I have discovered that a NULL DateTime is
auto-type casted to NIL by Rails.
My problem here is that I have a field :datetime and I want to allow
NULL datetimes but not wrong datetimes. With this validation if deadline
is wrong or if is is blank it returns true. How I can accomplish this?

It's a BUG or a Feature? Generating seq break comparing operators
Hello everybody:
I get a strange behavior with seq, take a look at this:
> msd <- seq(0.05,0.3, 0.01)
> msd[13]
[1] 0.17
> class(msd)
[1] "numeric"
> class(msd[13])
[1] "numeric"
> typeof(msd[13])
[1] "double"
now the problem:
> msd[13] == 0.17
[1] FALSE
It is strange only to me?
Consider that:
> 0.17 == 0.17
[1] TRUE
and also

almacenamiento en lista y funcion lapply
Estimados su ayuda, tengo un total de 20 matrices las cuales deseo
colocarlas como componentes de la lista, es decir
matrices<-list(matriz1,matriz2,matriz3,...,matriz20) existe alguna manera
de hacer esto de manera automatica ya que puede que exista un mayor numero
de matrices por ejemplo 100, donde el ingreso de una por una puede resultar
un poco cansado.

PPR crash (PR#13517)
Full_Name: Hugh Miller

Submission from: (NULL) (128.250.24.101)
Hi there,
I've been looking at approaches that use the projection pursuit regression
function fairly (ppr) heavily, and have discovered that it crashes my R system
on occasion. It only happens with the inputs are pathological in some way I
don't understand. I have pasted such an example below.
