I'd be happy to commit it for you. But check with Chris about commit access. prio qdisc broken?
Hello all, I might make a fool out of me, but I think the prio qdisc doesn''t work as advertised in any document I could lay my hands on. The following tests and observations were made with Linux kernel 2.6.20.21. This makes it up-to-date in the 2.6.20.x kernel family. My problem was that the link quality reported by the olsr.org olsrd degraded depending on the amount of payload

Analysis of the Microsoft Settlement from a Samba perspective.
The Samba Team would welcome Microsoft documenting its proprietary server protocols. Unfortunately this isn't what the settlement stipulates. The settlement states : "E. Starting nine months after the submission of this proposed Final Judgment to the Court, Microsoft shall make available for use by third parties, for the sole purpose of interoperating with a Windows Operating System

Mutually assured minefields.
The specific standards process used to develop the MPEG codecs creates patent minefields that royalty-free codecs don't generally face. Because many knowledgeable people have heard of the problems faced by these patent-soup standards, they may extrapolate these risk to codecs developed under a different process where these problems are less considerable. This is a mistake, and I'll explain

a more specific question about qda
Perhaps, I should complement my previous e-mail question: I am trying to select variables through a quadratic discriminant analysis. It seems to me that a robust criterion is the value of the discriminatory power (i.e. the ratio of the separation of the class means to within-class variance) How can I obtain this ratio from V & R's qda() output ? Thanks (I hope this question is relevant) --

plot: many bars with wide bars
Hello, I have got another problem. I wrote a function which is able to create plots with different numbers of bars. In order to give them a similar look I determined the width of the bars using the parameters width=0.59 AND ylim=c(0,10)) (see function below) Now, this only works if I have just got up to 6 double bars. In the following example it doesn't work because the bars for the

Non-english character issue with uTorrent
I am using utorrent to use torrents from a particular torrent site which I haven't been able to make their torrents work with KTorrent. I have an issue with one of them, when I attempt to save it in utorrent I get "Unable to save .torrent to C:\...\Kein Blick zurLck.torrent". I believe that this is caused by the cyrillic character in the name, which replaces the German "?"

Bug#481105: adjust patch to pygrub and hvmloader
Hi, I just stumbled over this bug. Firstofall, it's nice that opposed to two years ago you now include pygrub at all. Thank you for that. Second, as pointed out, the FHS is not an issue as the selected path was in /usr/lib. Furthermore, if you re-read the text you should find that we're talking symlinks here, which surely are executable, but not binaries. I think it was for a reason FHS
