[common PATCH v2 1/1] options: add '--blocksize' option for C-based tools
From: Nikolay Ivanets <stenavin@gmail.com>
This patch adds '--blocksize' command line option parsing and handling
for guestfish and other C-based tools which share the same code from
this sub-module.
'--blocksize' will be a common for almost all libguestfs-based tools and
thus parameter description will be repeated all the time. Let's move
it into blocksize-option.pod

Running R on a Local Area Network
A couple of months ago I downloaded R 1.6.0's binary for Windows, which I have
since been using without any particular problem, that is on one machine running
Windows 98.
Last week I set up a local network and have since tried to use R remotely, i.e.
R is installed on the previous machine and nowhere else. On the client's side,
the GUI opens correctly and allows me to do simple

Proper Paste for Data Member
I imported a spreadsheet into a variable sh
e.g. sh$aaaa, sh$bbbb, etc...
doing the following:
tsSource <- ts(paste("sh$",NAMEVARIABLE,sep="") ... )
fails. The paste isn't evaluating properly. What is the proper way to
concatenate a data source with a member name such that they evaluate
properly.

still mbuf leak in 9.0 / 9.1?
Hi list,
since we activated 10gbe on ixgbe cards + jumbo frames(9k) on 9.0 and now on 9.1 we recognize that after a random period of time, sometimes a week, sometimes only a day, the
system doesn't send any packets out. The phenomenon is that you can't login via ssh, nfs and istgt is not operative. Yet you can login on the console and execute commands.
A clean shutdown isn't possible

puppet not reloading server config
Hi,
I have a use case where the puppet server changes entries in the puppet
agent''s puppet.conf to redirect agents to a new server.
It changes
server=NEW_SERVER, environment_NEW_ENV, and reportserver=NEW_SERVER
in the puppet.conf file
on the next puppetrun call (with --listen option), the agent uses the new
values for reportserver and environment, but still connects to the old

Sweaving single master file to get multiple individualised reports
Hi
Apologies in advance if I've missed something obvious. I have read the
Sweave manual, the first article in R News, looked at the Help pages,
googled Sweave and words like loop, output, files, multiple, done much
the same on R site search (in case I missed something on Google) and I
couldn't find exactly what I'm after.

Problem with predict() and factors
I am working on a script that takes numeric performance indicators and runs
them against a series of regressors (dummy regressors, yes\no stuff via 0
and 1, e.g. Was is Christmas this week 0=no, 1=yes).
The script is as follows (Written as a function):

doEnv <- function(HOUR,ENVNAME,REPORTNAME) {

library(forecast)

[PATCH] common/options: Change drv struct to store drive index instead of device name.
The device name is only used by guestfish (when using the -N option to
prepare drives). We constructed the device name very naively,
basically ‘sprintf ("/dev/sd%c", next_drive)’.
This stores the device index instead, and only constructs the device
name in guestfish. Also the device name is constructed properly using
guestfs_int_drive_name so it can cope with #drives > 26.

Missed calls and groups
Is there a SIP header I can set (for Snom and Yealink phones if that's
relevant) or any other mechanism to tell a phone to ignore a particular
call from it's missed call list?
I have bits of the dialplan that ring groups of phones eg:
exten => 200,1,Dial(Sip/112&SIP/113&SIP/114)
and I don't want such calls being recorded by the phone as a missed
call.

similar to key-option.pod.

Managing rc.conf in FreeBSD?
I''m, still, working on converting my cfengine configs into puppet; one
of the major hang-ups is the lack of any find/replace in puppet.
So for those of you who are using FreeBSD and puppet, how do you
manage you rc.conf?
