DOE and interaction plot general question
This is a general question about Design of experiments. If i am not allowed to post general questions like this here please accept my apologies and ignore the question. I did a DOE with six factors in eight runs. I know i cannot check for interactions using this design, but i tried the interaction plot and it showed me many interactions. how to add "waiting for page change" to my script
I'd like to "step" through 24 histograms by using the return or click button option, as shown in the demo(graphics) demonstration. I've searched for "interactive graphics", and "waiting for page change" in R documentation but with no result. I'm sure that this is a relatively straightforward procedure. Can anyone point me to the correct solution?   Jabez

question regarding is.factor()
Dear all, please help with what must be a straightforward question which I can't answer. I add a column of my dataframe as factor of an existing column e.g. df[,5] <- factor(df[,2]) and can test that it is by is.factor() but if I did not know in advance what "types" the columns were, is there a function to tell me what they are. i.e. instead of

I've been working on an outline for a couple of weeks and I would like to have some peer review of the information presented. I am going to have to cut down the content to make it fit in

Plot qualitative y axis
See ?barplot and set the horiz argument to TRUE. (This is in the base R plotting version. The ggplot2 and lattice systems have other ways of doing this) Note: if you search on e.g. "barplots in R" or similar, you should find numerous examples with code.
