Overdispersion using repeated measures lmer
Dear All
I am trying to do a repeated measures analysis using lmer and have a number
of issues. I have non-orthogonal, unbalanced data. Count data was obtained
over 10 months for three treatments, which were arranged into 6 blocks.
Treatment is not nested in Block but crossed, as I originally designed an
orthogonal, balanced experiment but subsequently lost a treatment from 2
blocks. My

Plot using different symbols depending on value.
I am making a plot from R indicating an average, min and max value for a

lmer family=binomal p-values
Hi,
If any one has time I need some help understanding the P-values given in the lmer output.
Using AIC for model selection I find my minimal model is FOLLOW~MOVERSTATUS+DISTANCE however it appears DISTANCE is not significant at 95% confidence, see output quoted below.
However, removing DISTANCE gives a higher AIC=433.5, therefore I will keep it in, but am confused as to what is adds to the

Phone Rings, Immediate Hangup and then Rings Again.
I am having a problem with an Asterisk server, in that when it is
receiving a call from another Asterisk server using an IAX2 trunk the
phone rings for 10 ms and then there is a hungup from asterisk and then
the phone rings again before another hangup.
The funny thing is that after I really hang up on the calling phone it
repeats this as if I am still trying to call.
Any Ideas?

I've scoured the web, faq and mailing list archives to try and find an

expected. Can anyone advise please?

Random Factor = ID nested within Treatment and Sex
Covariate = Delay

help! I still can't use more than 1 of the 2 BRIs on my AVM C2 (chan_capi)
hi all
I still can't use both BRIs on the AVM C2 with chan_capi. This is _annoying_
since people have started complaining about the number of available lines.
Have anyone else seen this?
thanks

R project web site
Is anyone else encountering trouble viewing the basic www.r-project.org page?
Or has it been changed recently so that google hasn't kept up? I find I can
access the mirror of the CRAN page at http://www.maths.bris.ac.uk/R/, none of
the *.org pages. Nor can I jump to the R homepage from the CRAN mirror.

R on Ubuntu
Hi everyone,
first of all, my sincerest thanks for the maintainers of this massive project. Such a compelling task!
Briefly, I?m a PhD student working on Spatial Stats who loves R. Last week I decided to install and use Ubuntu (again). Consequently, I install the latest release (18.04) and tried to install R 3.5.0 as well but (un)fortunately I couldn?t.
I have used R within Ubuntu and I use to

Problem updating packages in 2.15.1 on Ubuntu 12.04
The specific message is:
"Warning: package 'spatial' in library '/usr/lib/R/library' will not be

increasingly almost daily so clearly something is wrong.
I'm working on a laptop on which I do the recommended Ubuntu updates
daily. I done a standard installation of R 2.15.1 using
