How to send variables through AMI originate and read those variables in context?
Hello Everyone,
I want to send a few numbers (variables) when doing Asterisk AMI Originate
command and then have Festival read them back to customer in the context.
How should this be done? Following is my not working example and also
reference on AMI Originate Command:
Command: Originate
Channel: SIP/123
Context: TestFestival
Priority: 1
Exten: 555
Variable: $numberONE, $numberTWO, $numberTHREE

merging dataframes
Dear List,
I often have to merge two or more data frames containing unique row
names but with some columns (names) common to the two data frames and
some columns not common. This toy example will explain the kind of setup
I am talking about:
mat1 <- as.data.frame(matrix(rnorm(20), nrow = 5))
mat2 <- as.data.frame(matrix(rnorm(20), nrow = 4))
rownames(mat1) <- paste("site",

[LLVMdev] How to find the first block of each loop
Hello,
I want to insert a control-block before every outermost loop. My current
solution is: 1) find each outermost loop in some function; 2) find the loop
header with Loop->getHeader() APIs, and then insert the controller block
before the header block of current loop.
But I encounters problems when there multi subsequent loops in the
following example, where there is no code between loops:

How to apply a function to slices of multidimensional arrays, and not just iterating through single elements
Hello,
If I want to apply some f(x) to such chunks of the the array
dim(A)==c(d1,d2,d3,..,dk,...,dn) which are defined by A[...,ik,...]
(ik belongs to {1,..,dk}), for now I use iteration via 'for (i in
dim(A)[k]) f(A[...,k,...])' . Is there any more elegant approach, e.g
like in 'apply' function which you can use on margin of the array.
Just in my case I want the entire slice

Simple question on replace a matrix row
Hello, I have a matrix mat1 of dim [1,8] and mat2 of dim[30,8], I want to
replace the first row of mat2 with mat1, this is what I do:
mat2[1,]<-mat1 but it transforms mat2 in a list I don't understand, I want
it to stay a matrix...

problem with user defined panel function in xyplot
Hi everyone,
?
I am trying to do a horizonplot using my own time series
data. I know that there is a horizonplot function in latticeExtra, but on
closer examination i think that the graph itself is slightly wrong (it displays
some regions as triangles and i think they should be trapezoids, and the red
regions (that are below the baseline) are displayed on top of the blue areas ?
while i think
