ICD9 codes
Hello:
I am working on getting some statistics related to clinical trials and
stuff. I have to work with ICD9 codes.
Is anyone aware of any R method that deals with ICD9 codes
verification and manipulation.
Thanks

Need a variant of rbind for datasets with different numbers of columns
Hello. I am looking for a function that will allow me to paste rows
together without regard for the numbers of columns in the datasets to
be joined. The only columns where it matters if they are aligned
correctly are at the beginning - the rest of the columns represent
differing numbers of ICD9 (disease) codes reported by each
person(record) at a health visit. They are in no particular order.

Medical risk package calculation RSI
Hi all,
I'm using the medical risk package to determine the risk stratification Index based on the ICD9 codes. Although, I have been successful in using it, I'm unable to interpret the output.
here is the sample code
# Calculate RSI for each patient ("id") in dataframe
cases <- data.frame(id=c(1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2),

simple coding question
I have a list of ICD9 (disease) codes with various formats - 3 digit,
4 digit, 5 digit. The first three digits of these codes are what I am
most interested in. I would like to either add zeros to the 3 and 4
digit codes to make them 5 digit codes or add decimal points to put
them all in the format ###.##. I did not see a function that allows
me to do this in the formatting command. This seems

apply function returning different results
For some reason when I apply a function to a single row in R it works, but
when that same row is in a data.frame it does not, see below:
apply(dx[954,], 1, query.db)
2571
1092 0.06044147
3890 0.05948577
3273 0.05911261
794 0.05855583
4241 0.05854064
3560 0.05602690
apply(dx[954:955,], 1, query.db)
$`2571`
numeric(0)
$`1194`

<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31137940/randomly-assign-teachers-to-classrooms-imposing-restrictions/31143808#31143808>
produce un data frame `schoolGrade` con 240 observaciones y 7 variables. Mi
objetivo es poder generar un data

Crear datos aleatorios con restriciones
Hola,
0. La falta de 'elegancia' hace que sea mas dificil hacer cambios al
codigo. Por ejemplo cambiar n.classrooms <- 4 a n.classrooms <- 20
1. Cuando tengo solo 4 puedo hacer esto:
schoolGrade$A <- Teachers$Teacher.ID[1:cuttoff1]
schoolGrade$B <- Teachers$Teacher.ID[1:cuttoff1]
schoolGrade$C <- Teachers$Teacher.ID[(cuttoff1+1):n.teachers]
schoolGrade$D <-

CRAN I-MR / Xbar-R / Xbar-S control chart package ?
Hi,
I've had a quick look through the package list, and unless I've missed
something, I can't seem to find anything that will do I-MR / Xbar-R /
Xbar-S control charts ?
Assuming there is something out there, can anyone point me in the
right direction ?
Thanks !

CRAN I-MR / Xbar-R / Xbar-S control chart package ?
Hello,
I have no experience with I-MR charts but a google search found package
qcc. Maybe it's what you're looking for.
Hope this helps,
