GSEA package error
Dear R gurus
I?m trying to use the GSCA package to a series of microarray data (prostate
cancer normal vs tumor (29 vs 29 paired)) but I?m running into some
problems.
I have a matrix (named /data_final/) with 11k rows(genes) and 60 cols (58
samples (29N vs 29T), GO IDs, KEGG IDs).
I also have a separate vector GS with the GO IDs mapped to genes (no
duplicate genes but multiple IDs per gene like

Samba as non-root?
I have a two-part question. Is it possible to run Samba as a non-root
user? What we want to do, ideally, is to create a user account such as
"samba", and let our applications people log in as the samba user, and do
all the setup and ongoing maintenance. I looked through the stuff on
samba.org but the answer isn't readily apparent to me. This is so they can
allow a few users the

host allow
Hi,
We want to restrict acces to the shares on our samba server using "hosts
allow".
Can I get this to work with clients who have dynamic IP addresses and
don't have revers DNS lookup ?

Good to have an example how to use HMM with an upstream driver.

Gem::FilePermissionError on "rails:freeze:gems" task
My understanding is that the "rails:freeze:gems" task copies the Rails
source into the application''s vendor directory. Which is why I find
the following error surprising and confusing, because the task should
not involve writing to system files or directories:
% rake rails:freeze:gems
(in /Users/tallen/apps/pnc)
Freezing to the gems for Rails 2.3.5
rm -rf vendor/rails
mkdir -p

[PATCH 1/2] Ocfs2: Add a new code 'OCFS2_INFO_FREEINODE' for o2info ioctl.
The new code is dedicated to calculate free inodes number of all inode_allocs,
then return the info to userpace in terms of an array.
Specially, flag 'OCFS2_INFO_FL_NON_COHERENT', manipulated by '--cluster-coherent'
from userspace, is now going to be involved. setting the flag on means no cluster
coherency considered, usually, userspace tools choose none-coherency strategy by

Hi 任坤,
I can't say for sure, though I don't think we make assurances that this is the case. If you want to traverse the CFG, there should

Paragraph tags around <div> blocks
For those of you who are expert you may chuckle over this.
Perhaps if it's in the record, however, it may help someone else.
I was getting cases of
<div id="content">
standing on a line by itself, getting converted to this:
<p><div id="content"></p>
Yes, the line above and below are blank.
Yes the div tag is starting at the first column

I'm rying to 'turn' an Schunk in an .Rnw file(Xemacs-21.4.13, ESS-5.2.8,

Has anyone got the isorot package to work with Sweave?

persp Error. x,y,z with the same length
Hello,
I have a problem in drawing a 3d graphic. I simplified the program to show you the problem.
I have a text file with hundreds of entries in 3 columns. I scaned these columns with matrix(scan). Then, I transformed some datas. Now I have the datas in h,x,y.
I created a new matrix to use persp . But I got an error. The reason is probably the same length of x,y,z.
But what can I do the draw

ISOLINUX - specify memory address?
I'm wondering if there's a way to specify the memory address that
ISOLINUX loads its image into. I have a couple "all-in-one" boot CDs
that use ISOLINUX to load the boot disk images, like Memtest-86, etc,
that can't load because the memory it's going to be loaded to test is
bad. For example, one I'm trying to load is a laptop with onboard RAM
that's bad past
