Question about plot.mona {cluster}
Hello all, I what to print the banner plot that is output from the mona method in the cluster package but the problem is I dont want to print all that red ink. Here is an example: data(animals) ma <- mona(animals) ma ## Plot similar to Figure 10 in Struyf et al (1996) plot(ma) I can change the bar color by using the argument col=c(0,0) - plot(ma,col=c(0,0)) - but then the variable labels also

Plotting Mona clustering result
Hi all, Is there a way of plotting a 'decision tree' from the results of Mona in the cluster package. The default bannerplot is not quite what I'm after - I would like a plot of the binary decision tree. Thanks Zoë [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

FYI about my Mona Vie business venture - apology and rethink
I feel the need to apologize for my previous email to the list. I was thinking that I was sharing something that I am currently exited with, with my associates. I now realize that I was sooo... off-topic, it's ridiculous. Sorry for the improper post to the list. Feel free to keep any further comments, concerning my improper use of the list, off-list. Thank You, Steven B TeamVie at

merge_guards_bot reports clang-tidy/clang-format findings unrelated to modified code
First, I love this bot:) It makes LLVM's "pushing to master" practise less awful:) Now the main topic... > clang-tidy: fail. Please fix clang-tidy findings. For example, on https://reviews.llvm.org/D72103#1801916 , merge_guards_bot reports clang-tidy findings of existing code, not just the modified code. I think https://github.com/google/llvm-premerge-checks should use

Adding submenus to existing consol GUI menu
If possible I would like to add two sub-menus to the R Console under Windows. For example, I would like to add: winMenuAddItem("File", "Load CSV...", "loadCSV()") winMenuAddItem("File", "Save CSV...", "saveCSV()") and have them appear under the initial 'File' item rather than add a new 'File' menu item. I seem to

FYI about my Mona Vie business venture
Asterisk work does not pay all of my bills, so I have joined up with a company that has a very good payment plan. I have recently become a Mona Vie Independent Distributor. I am not going to go into a sales pitch. This is just an FYI to this opportunity. The company has grown into a Billion dollar company in just 2 years. This company's compensation plan is the best and quickest that I have

Creating object referant from argument name
Hi all. I'd like to define an object within a function based on an argument to that function. Specifically, I've got: do.something<-function(input){ id<-substring(input,3,3) j<-list1 if(id==2)j<-list2 if(id==3)j<-list3 if(id==4)j<-list4 ...} Instead of all these if() arguments, I was hoping to use something like:

clang-tidy : Modify cert-err60-cpp configuration
We want to modify the aforementioned check so that it does not flag the exceptions that aren't nothrow copy constructible/assignable. This page http://clang.llvm.org/extra/clang-tidy/#using-clang-tidy tells me to dump the configs of all the checks using %clang-tidy -checks=* -dump-config but it does not mention the cert-err60-cpp. How do I modify the configuration of this check so that it

Extracting year from a date object
Hi all, this one left me a bit puzzled, as I don't seem to find a function to perform this easily. I must have overlooked the obvious, so sorry in advance. I have a list of dates in numerical format (i.e. 34576), defined as the number of days that passed since january 1st 1900. So I apply the function : > MyDate <-as.Date(34576,origin="1900-01-01") > MyDate [1]

Bug: time complexity of substring is quadratic as string size and number of substrings increases
Update: I have observed that stringi::stri_sub is linear time complexity, and it computes the same thing as base::substring. figure https://github.com/tdhock/namedCapture-article/blob/master/figure-substring-bug.png source: https://github.com/tdhock/namedCapture-article/blob/master/figure-substring-bug.R To me this is a clear indication of a bug in substring, but again it would be nice to have

[cfe-dev] Modernizing LLVM Coding Style Guide and enforcing Clang-tidy
I'm a bit confused by this whole discussion. clang-format is neither mandated (by documentation) nor enforced (by any infrastructure/automation) for use in the LLVM project that I know of. It's convenient, and in review people may reasonably ask authors to consider running it, etc - but we have no system that requires or checks for that. Might be nice, might not be. It sounds like even

a little help needed plotting chron object
Hello there, Using R 2.4.0 on Solaris (Unix): I am trying to control the X axis range on a simple time of day plot. I made a test program (below) that gets file time stamp information from the files in the directory where R starts. The goal of the test program is to plot the time of day of file creation on an x axis that spans a user-specified range (like 12:00:00 to 15:00:00). If I allow

isc-dhcp dynamic update problem
Hi, I have a buster system configured as a DC running 4.11.13 from Louis's repo. I am trying to get https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Configure_DHCP_to_update_DNS_records_with_BIND9 working. Mostly it seems to work but there seems to be a problem with what dhcpd writes into the leases file in the "on release" stanza. When dhcpd writes the On Release stanza I get something like the
