Multiple comparisons when interacction
In the model:
lm.1 <- lm(variable ~ BLOC + TIL * YEAR , data=selvanera)
I found TIL*YEAR interaction significant. Then I am trying to compare
means of the different levels of TIL inside every YEAR using:
mc.2 <- glht(lm.1, linfct = mcp(TIL*YEAR="Tukey"))
summary(mc.2, test = univariate())
but it does not work.
There is any way of doing this, like the SLICE option in

problems with for loop
Hello,
With this program I try to repeat analysis for different years. The
results of the analysis are not printed when in the loop, except for the
year sequence. What is wrong?
Thanks a lot.

Logging to MySQL
I've written down a simple yet a bit obfuscated perl script to put
samba logs on a MySQL database, inspired on a little howto i found
some time ago googleing around.
It works by reading logs from a fifo instead of parsing actual log
files, but allows to create sparse files too. Log lines are then
parsed by matching to a regexp to extract desired values then
inserting the record on mysql.

Multiple comparisons when interacction]
Hello,
I send the message again with the data file as txt because it seems not to
be accepted as csv in the R-help list.
Data comes from a multiyear field experiment in which 4 levels of a
treatment (2, 3, 4, 6) are compared to see the effect on yield. It is a
randomized complete block design.
The SAS code follows:
options ls=95;
data uno;

posthoc tests with ANCOVA
dear all,
I want to perform a posthoc test for my ANCOVA:
a1<-aov(seeds~treatment*length)
With
summary(glht(a1, linfct = mcp(treatment = "Tukey")))
R tells me: "covariate interactions found -- please choose appropriate
contrast"
How do I build these contrasts?
Ideally, I would like to have the posthoc test for the ANCOVA including
a block-effect

Efectos aleatorios, interaccions y SNK, LSD o Tukey a claración de las datos
Hola de nuevo R-Users,
me he dejado cosas para aclara.
misma localidades

No documentation for ?LSD.test? in specified packages and libraries:
you could try ???LSD.test?

Fisher's LSD multiple comparisons in a two-way ANOVA
Hi there,
Is there a function that can do a Fisher's LSD multiple comparisons in a
two-way ANOVA? I hope to get a result similar with TukeyHSD().
Especially, I hope to know the significance of comparisons between the
interactions of two factors.
In the following example:
x <- c(76, 84, 78, 80, 82, 70, 62, 72, 71, 69, 72, 74, 66, 74, 68, 66,
69, 72, 72, 78, 74, 71, 73, 67, 86, 67, 72,

LSD-test
The model should be class aov or lm and my model class is aovlist.
tried tidy from broom library but did not work. To make it class aov,
I had to remove the error term;
model <- aov(Rotationdata_R$`GY(Mg/ha)`~Rep+code*as.factor(Nitrogen),data=Rotationdata_R)

Do I need a special package to run LSD tests?
Hi there,
I am trying to run LSD.test(model)
I used the following commands:
attach(model)
m1<- glm(ttl.m ~ site+year, family=quasipoisson, data= model)
df<-df.residual(m1)
MSerror<-deviance(m1)/df
The following command did not work:
comparison<- LSD.test (ttl.m, site+year, df, MSerror, alpha = 0.05,
group=FALSE)
I get an error message: Error: could not find function

Were to find appropriate functions for a given task in R
This is a generic request concerning were to look for finding
appropriate information on a precise procedure in R.
I’m using R for teaching introductory statistics and my students are
learning how to deal with it. However, I find it difficult to locate
some of the procedures. For instance, for basic crosstabulation, it is
obvious that basic functions as table, ftable, and prop.table can be
used.

A question on plot
I’m trying to obtain a plot of given function, say the density of a
normal, in which I could indicate the area under the curve between two
points (a,b).
I.e. the P(a<X<b). Could anyone indicate me which is the instruction for
obtain such a shadow area under a curve?
I guess the solution is not difficult, but I can not find the procedure.

How to use the function "glht" of multcomp package to test interaction?
It's been a few weeks I'm racking my brains on how to use the function glht
the package multcomp to test interactions. Unfortunately, the creator of the
package forgot to put a sample in pdf package how to do it. I have looked in
several places, but found nothing. If someone for the love of God can help
me I'll be extremely grateful. The model is glm.

LSD, HSD,...
Hi,
I'm designing a experiment in order to compare the growing of
several clones of a tree specie. It will be a complete randomized block
design. How can I decide what model of mean comparision to choose? LSD,
HSD,TukeyHSD, Duncan,...? Thanks in advance
