[LLVMdev] Throwing an exception from JITed code, and catching in C++
Hi everyone,
I am writing an application that uses LLVM JIT and I would like to throw an exception from the JIT and catch it in the C++ code that invokes the JIT.
This does not seem to work.
I've written what is hopefully a super simple demonstration to reproduce this.
I would appreciate any help with this.
Thank you
The demonstration is composed of:

stable + squid 2.5_3
I seem to be having a problem, but I'm not sure if it's -stable, Squid, or
neither. I've been running -stable+Squid on a Dell 4600 for a couple
years now. All has been well, but after upgrading to Squid 2.5_3 (which
was also done on a couple other, less-loaded, -stable machines without
this issue to date), I occasionally get errors in my cache.log and this AM

i'm building mod_php3 (some local stuff needs a php3 processor) with mysql
support. using the mysql323 client/server from ports. mysql (which i
know i've built before on older stable's) reports gcc can't convert

Vectorize fails for function with ... arglist
Vectorize is defined to return a function that acts as if 'mapply' was
called.
So we have:
> mapply(dput,1:2) # mapply form
1L # calls dput on each element of 1:2
2L
[1] 1 2
> Vectorize(dput)(1:2) # Vectorize form
1L # same behavior
2L

Same thing with a named argument:

First of all let me say thanks for answering all of my emails to the
mailing list with the many questions that I have had. Your answers have
been a great help.
Just a few more questions, ok.
I have been reading over the documentation and need to find out how Tinc
behaves regarding the VPN and hosts as I will have to distinct
situtations to address in our system.

Simple source on Debian
Hi there.
Thanks for the tip about Ices2. Do you know if it's possible to make
it work with mp3 files? I only ask because there are several people
who stream using my server, and they use mp3. I'm trying to create
fallback streams, but in order for that to work, I'd have to get them
to switch to ogg or find a way to make Ices work with mp3.
Thanks

Yes, but I'd rather not attempt to learn how to script Liquid Soap
just to pull off what I want. If it's the only client that supports
this though, I'll give it a look.
Thanks

Rhythmbox Replacement
Hey Y'all,
I though I would resurrect a long dead mail chain.
I'm looking for a good replacement for Rhythmbox. I need a pod catcher
to catch podcasts and download them to my HD where I can then move them
onto my mp3 player that I take to work every day.
I don't need a new mp3 player so don't suggest VLC. It is not able to
download podcasts.
I'm in the process of

New and need help
Hello everyone. I haven't used Icecast yet but I'm hoping it can help me
with what I want to do.
I listen to podcasts a lot. Most of the time I'm at work I have something
playing in the background. The problem is once one ends I have to select
another to play. Or if they have all been played I can't use the auto next
feature.
So what I would like to do is setup a machine

[PATCH] - xc_core.c/xenctrl.h - refactor slightly to allow user specified output routines
The existing xc_domain_dumpcore is very specific to disk/file based
output. Refactor the code slightly to allow more user-specified
control. This is done by adding a parallel xc_domain_dumpcore2 (naming
isn''t always my strong suit), which allows the specification of a
callback routine and an opaque argument block. The existing dumpcore
routine is modified to use the callback for all

Carl, are you saying that I need ices2 for two mount points?
I don't have an ices-playlist.xml file, I only have an
/etc/icecast2/Icecast.xml file.

How best to get around shadowing of executables by system()'s prepending of directories to Windows' PATH?
My question:
On Windows, R's system() command prepends several directories to those
in the Windows Path variable.
>From ?system
The search path for 'command' may be system-dependent: it will
include the R 'bin' directory, the working directory and the
Windows system directories before 'PATH'.
This shadows any executables on the Path that share a

question on integrate function & request for consultant
Dear R helpers,
i am using the ecdf(emp. cumulative distribution function, and am getting the following error on daily returns of stock data (about 2000 data points). I am not sure what this means, I would expect the result of the code to be 1 (the integral from -infinity to +infinity of the emp. cumulative distribution). Also when I try to integrate a smaller subset(from say 0 to 1, i get an
