kalman filter
Hello, I would like use Kalman filter for estimating parameters of a stochastic model. I have developed the state space model but I don’t know the correct way use Kalman filter for parameter estimation. Has anybody experience in work with Kalman filter in R. I don’t know the correct function. Maybe it is - KalmanLike; but what is the correct Input? - tsmooth? -

KalmanLike: missing exogenous factor?
>From the help document on KalmanLike, KalmanRun, etc., I see the linear Gaussian state space model is a <- T a + R e y = Z' a + eta following the book of Durbin and Koopman. In practice, it is useful to run Kalman filtering/smoothing/forecasting with exogenous factor: a <- T a + L b + R e y = Z' a + M b + eta where b is some known vector (a function of time). Some other

Thank you Alexey. I will try this out this week. Any idea on supporting this for Mac? My raw idea is to add this to compiler-rt/lib/profile/CMakeLists.txt if(APPLE) foreach(arch ${PROFILE_SUPPORTED_ARCH}) add_compiler_rt_static_runtime(clang_rt.profile-${arch} ${arch} SOURCES ${PROFILE_SOURCES} CFLAGS --sysroot=${COMPILER_RT_DARWIN_SDK_SYSROOT}) endforeach() endif() Do you

Thanks for your reply. May I know which is the recommended library that should be linked against? I am currently linking libprofile_rt.a. And I have noticed the differences that, if we do `nm libprofile_rt.a | grep llvm` with my old copy of the llvm/clang installation, I can see 00000000000005e0 T _llvm_gcda_emit_arcs 0000000000000b48 S _llvm_gcda_emit_arcs.eh 0000000000000430 T

Thank you Alexey. I have tried to use Makefile. This will generate the correct symbols that I need. Any idea on the schedule of adding CMake support to compiler-rt? [LLVMdev] undefined reference to 'llvm_gcda_start_file', 'llvm_gcda_emit_arcs', etc
Hi, I am trying to test my project and get the code coverage with a version of clang compiler that was built from the latest llvm/clang codebase. It worked for a while. But today, after I updated my local checkout, and re-build llvm, clang and compiler-rt, when I test my project again, I got the errors with undefined reference to 'llvm_gcda_start_file', 'llvm_gcda_emit_arcs',

Hi All, I think Nick's suggestion is correct, my code was linked against libprofile_rt.a, which had gcda profiling code before, but was removed https://github.com/llvm-mirror/llvm/commit/218042a02305a3cc38d968a97ff9ecf4b4abe6ff So, I couldn't find the correct symbols from libprofile_rt.a any more. Now my assumption is I need to use the correct library that is provided by compiler-rt.

Hi it is possible to see the C code for the KalmanLike and Kalmansmooth functions with R? Otherwise, without using R, how can I get the code? Thank arianna

Kalman Filtering?
1. The function "KalmanLike" seems to change its inputs AND PREVIOUSLY MADE copies of the inputs. Consider the following (using R 2.1.0 patched under Windows XP): > Fig2.1 <- StructTS(x=Nile, type="level") > unlist(Fig2.1$model0[2:3]) a P 1120 286379470 > tst2 <- tst <- Fig2.1$model0 > tst23 <- tst[2:3] > tst23u <-

Kalman Filter
Hi My name is Vladimir Samaj. I am a student of Univerzity of Zilina. I am trying to implement Kalman Filter into my school work. I have some problems with understanding of R version of Kalman Filter in package stats( functions KalmanLike, KalmanRun, KalmanSmooth,KalmanForecast). 1) Can you tell me how are you seting the initial values of state vector in Kalman Filter? Are you using some method?

R package with Fortran module on Windows? undefined reference to `__stack_chk_fail'
Hi, I created a R library that uses a Fortran module. Everything works like a charm on linux. Now I'm trying to make it work on Windows. I cloned my git repository <https://github.com/ignacio82/MyPi> on a windows computer, and when I press the build and reload button on Rstudio I get these errors: ==> Rcmd.exe INSTALL --no-multiarch --with-keep.source MyPi * installing to library

Running libvirtd outside of a shell results in qemu defunct processes
Hi, In KubeVirt we are right now starting libvirt via a wrapper shell script. I want to remove that wrapper and directly start libvirtd from our golang code. This means that our golang code is PID 1 in the container and we start libvirtd as a fork from there. When I did this, strange things started to happen. Libvirt was still able to start and manage qemu processes, but stopping the qemu
