Build 2.0.4, usb.h missing.
Hi!
I've got a Mandrake 2006.0 machine and a APC Back-UPS Pro 500/1000/1500
(from lsusb). The Mandrake package version of nut is 2.0.1 and hidups
actually detects the UPS, however I get loads of these:

Moving fileserver
I'm having a problem here I'm not sure how to solve, so I
hope someone else have done the same (and succeeded :)
I have an old smb server ('tux') which is ancient (both
in software and hardware) and can't handle the load.
This machine is running version 2.2.3a-14.1 (Debian
GNU/Linux woody) with 'character set = ISO8859-1'.
The new smb server ('bella') runs

partial autocorrelation for Rt vs. Nt-1, ......., Nt-h
Dear list, following a previous querry we are still stuck!
As pointed out by Erin Hodges the "ts" library includes a PACF function
which reports the partial correlation of population density at time t
against lagged population density.
However, what we are trying to calculate is the partial correlation between
rate of population change, Rt=log Nt/Nt-1, against lagged population

Paste script in R stops before end of file
Hi!
I can only paste a limited amount of text into R (which is started in KDEs
Konsole). The script I have problem with stops pasting after 4224 characters,
and 78 lines. Although I can get Rs' attention at that point by just pressing
Return. The script mainly consists of a a large amount of vectors that I
would like to join into a dataset for further analysis. Example of vector:

JGR compile problem: JNI type error with a twist
Hi folks: Updated my system again and am stuck on a JGR compile
problem. What I've seen in discussion of the problem doesn't seem to
be helping.
As others have encountered, it can't compile rJava (for one), getting
this error:
checking JNI data types... configure: error: One or more JNI types
differ from the corresponding native type.
Also, consistently with what others report,

JGR install problem
Hi,
I thought I'd like to try out JGR, but after installing the package (and
dependencies) I receive the following when I try to load it:
> library(JGR)
Loading required package: rJava
Loading required package: JavaGD
Loading required package: iplots
Note: On Mac OS X we strongly recommend using iplots from within JGR.
Proceed at your own risk as iplots cannot resolve potential ev.loop

JGR and font antialiasing
Hi,
I've noticed that font antialiasing is enabled in the console window,
but not in the editor windows. I'm using R version 2.12.1. JGR 1.7.4 and
the jdk from Ubuntu 10.04, which claims to be: OpenJDK Runtime
Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.5) (6b20-1.9.5-0ubuntu1~10.04.1). Is that a
problem with my installation? Has someone else noticed that issue?
Regards,
Matthias

Hi!
I have made a guide describing how to install Rcmdr and JGR on SUSE 10.0.
Here it is:
http://www.hellmund.dk/RSUSEGUI.html
If you have installed R on SUSE with the package found on CRAN - and
all the packages on my list was present at the time of installation of
R - it might not be necessary to install R from source - give me some
feedback on this, please!
I might extend the guide to

JGR makes help more helpful
Hi All,
A few weeks ago I suggested that it would be nice to be able to submit
lines from the help files for execution. You can cut and paste them into
the console, or enter example(function) to run them all. However, I
often find myself wanting to run just a line or two, or even parts of a
line to see an intermediate result.
It turns out that this is one of the many nice features of the JGR

JGR font rendering on Windows
JGR users on Windows may be interested that Sun has released a preview
of its latest Java development kit and runtime engine at
http://www.java.net/download/jdk6/binaries/
This removes the main problem I have had with JGR and other Java
programs on Windows: poor font rendering. On Windows XP with an LCD
display, the improvement is striking, as this uses Windows native font
smoothing

I just installed JGR version 1.3 and I am having a problem. When I try
to load the library RQuantLib I get an error message. The same program
runs perfectly well when I just run rgui.exe. I have pasted the screen

Thanks for any help.
