Table to pdf
Hi all, I am new in R world and I haven't been able to find the answer to my question in the documentation I looked up so far. I hope someone can help. In the R function I am writing I have set the graphical output to be saved into a pdf file. I would also like to include in this file a table with some data, however I can't find the way to direct a table to a graphics

Please help me to produce smoothed contour plots
Please help me to produce smoothed contour plots. I have dependent data generated at regular intervals of two independent variables and would like to produce smoothed contour plots - I cannot get interp (alima) to produce cubic interpolations of the data, only linear ones. I'm interested in smoothing as the data generation process is stochastic and produces small variations which I'd

ip rule nat
when doing somehitng like ip rule add fwmark 3 nat 200.42.75.183 table ppp0 prio 1 (the idea is that packets that match the fwmark 3 change their source address to 200.42.75.183)..it first apply the nat and then routes to table ppp0 right? in such case the, nat, why may be nat not being applyed? cause it doesnt work at all..it goes to that interface but does not nat the src address of the package.

flac -- exhaustive model search vs. -A <*>?
what does the exhaustive model search do? Does it try all of the functions listed under "-A" to find the 'best', i.e. bartlett, bartlett_hann, blackman, blackman_har- ris_4term_92db, connes, flattop, gauss(STDDEV), hamming, hann, kaiser_bessel, nuttall, rectangle, triangle, tukey(P), welch. Or is that something else? I've been using the -e option for a while in

Unexpected behavior in boxplot
When plotting using the cex.axis argument to boxplot(), the size of the plotting symbols beyond the whiskers of the boxplot are being changes. Example: par(mfrow=c(2,1)) boxplot(c(rnorm(10), 10), horizontal=TRUE, main="Test", las=2, cex.axis=2) boxplot(c(rnorm(10), 10), horizontal=TRUE, main="Test", las=2, cex.axis=1) This is from the following line in bxp()

Throttling pop3-login connections
Hi, I have a fedora20 system with dovecot-2.2.13 running various services, including pop3. I'm noticing some users are frequently hamming pop3, and wondered if this was normal, or something I should be investigating? Creating a new NUT USB HID subdriver
Thanks to the great help here, I now have a UPS spitting out something resembling a report descriptor. So since I seem destined to have to create a new USB HID subdriver, I figured I'd get started on the path. I followed all of the directions on the web....I used the script to generate the usbhid subdriver, feeding it the output of the usbhid-ups driver from reading my UPS. All that worked

[LLVMdev] ctpop intrinsic question
Hello, is it correct, that the "llvm.ctpop" Hamming weight intrinsic is currently (LLVM 2.2) implemented in Line 254 in lib/CodeGen/IntrinsicLowering.cpp /// LowerCTPOP - Emit the code to lower ctpop of V before the specified /// instruction IP. static Value *LowerCTPOP(Value *V, Instruction *IP) { assert(V->getType()->isInteger() && "Can't ctpop a

Comparing spatial point patterns - Syrjala test
Dear Lists, At several stations distributed regularly in space[1], we sampled repeatedly (4 times) the abundance of organisms and measured environmental parameters. I now want to compare the spatial distribution of various species (and test wether they differ or not), or to compare the distribution of a particular organism with the distribution of some environmental variable.

Network Management Card (MGE) 66102 with snmp-ups
I'm trying to set up nut with a MGE UPS equiupped with a network management card, but encountered a problem. UPS: MGE Pulsar M 3000 Network Management card (installed in the UPS): 66102 (2006 edition) Operating system: FreeBSD Nut port version: 2.0.5 Nut driver: snmp-ups According to MGE in Norway this card is supported by nut, but only the old version of the card (66244) is listed on

upsd won't run
I've got persistent trouble getting nut to work, though I think I've done everything by the book (the Debian specific readme included). I've tracked it down to upsd not working as it should: it just won't keep going. :( I.e. checking the process list (or using its reload command) shows that there just isn't a upsd process, at all. Starting upsd with a few -D's for

CGI-BIN for Nut
I'm access nut online via localhost. But I have the following problems. When I click on Statistics I get cannot open /etc/hosts.conf. When I click on settings I get: Error: Can't open upsset.conf to verify security settings. Refusing to start until this is fixed. I have .htaccess in cgi-bin with the following: <Files upsset.cgi> deny from all allow from 127.0.0.1 </Files>

How to Simulate UPS on battery?
I've recently moved from installing NUT from source to installing NUT from the FreeBSD package (FreeBSD 9.1). One would think that I might have learned not to change anything, but I made the change. And here is my tale of woe..... My first question is: is it possible to simulate a "UPS is on battery" state? Some background: UPS comm port is connected to and monitored by

[LLVMdev] Activating MIPS Code Emitter.
Hi Jim, The idea of reducing the switching activity between the instructions works by reducing the hamming distance between tow consecutive binary strings across the basic block, or reducing the number of the different bits between two consecutive instructions. This is why I need the exact complete encoding in plain 0’s and 1’s, to be as precise as possible during the scheduling process. I did

multiple machines
Hi - I have 5 Linux servers connected to 1 SmartUPS 2200 VA. The software from APC for Linux requires a Windows machine be present on the network as a server in order to manage the Linux machines. This is a show stopper for us since we don't have access to any Windows machines. My first impression of NUT is it can shutdown the machine connected to the UPS via the serial cable but it
