I was playing around with Nvu, and discovered it has serious problems. Mainly that it reformats one's code regardless of whether or not one selects the "Don't reformat code" option. I know there are a few HTML editors out there, so I'm not asking if they exist. What I'm wondering if there are those on this list who may have a recommendation for one they like and why.

I have Wine working, and my Windows XP-installation mounted as read only. Reading the FAQ, I noticed: "DON'T configure Wine to use an NT-based Windows install (NT, Win2K, WinXP)." So... is it futile to try to get XP-applications running on my Linux-box? Should I install them from Wine, and if so, how? "wine SETUP.EXE"? I'm mostly interested in running Instant Messanger

Has anyone noticed that in the latest gaim update (gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.3.i386.rpm) almost all the MSN smiley icons are not included in the package? I've reverted to gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.i386.rpm and they're all there. Is this a bug? and if not why would redhat remove the smiley icons from Gaim? -- Tim Edwards

I am running Mandrake Linux 9.2 with Shorewall 1.4, and GAIM direct connect does not work, and it did before on my hardware router. Upon connection attempts, the program reports that the connection was attempted at 0.0.0.0:5190 for any user, and then promptly fails. The syslog does report that the packets were blocked.
