irregular time series prediction
Hello.
This is my first post, so allow me to introduce myself.
But first, I'd like to thank all the authors and contributors to the R software,
as I think that it is truly a great and very useful package.
I am the author of moodss, a GPL modular monitoring application
(http://moodss.sourceforge.net). Moodss collects, archives in a SQL database
and displays data from monitored devices,

Time Series Analysis: book?
There has been a few questions on the subject lately.
Is there any book on the subject, if possible with a computer processing flavor,
that you would highly recommend?
Many thanks in advance,

Pasting into Tk table widget?
I'm working on a matrix editor using the Tk table widget, and it is almost
done. It slices, dices, etc., and it can paste into Excel from an R session
running on Linux. What I don't know how to do is paste from Excel into a Tk
table, and Google is not helping me. Can anyone lend me a clue?

Hello,
I use latest Wine version (0.9.48) to play World of Warcraft latest version (2.2.3) but I have been
having a little bug with action bar, for not such a big while, and wonder what can cause it. So I'm
looking for a clue (some log ?) to diagnose what happens on my machine (it works on a friends' one
with somewhat the same configuration : same versions of WoW and Wine, Ubuntu Gutsy

A clue to solaris problem?
Got this from one of my users today ...
==========
sshing did still work last week, but you had to use the blowfish
encryption protocol instead of 3des that is used by default.

System crash -- no clue why
Hi --
My CentOS 5.8 server crashed, leaving no clue why. The
last entry in /var/log/messages is a dhcpd notice around
4:00am, followed by the restart message when I rebooted.
The only clue that I have is that the fan was running full
speed when I restarted it. The fan slowed to normal speed.
Any ideas what I can do to find out the cause?

dovecot dies - mabye a clue?
Dovecot died twice today. This was in the maillog:

I think I can cause it to happen reliably and I'm asking for other to test

string_to_sid: SID .... is not in a valid format - Any clue?
Hi,
I do get a lot of „string_to_sid: SID .... is not in a valid format“ in our samba 4.6.x Logs. What might be wrong or what might I check. Users can login to the domain and we don’t see any problem on the user / client side …
Thanks for suggestion and hints . Regards . Götz

Need firewalld clue
I don't really understand the intent behind firewalld. The RHEL7 Security
Guide states "A graphical configuration tool, *firewall-config*, is used to
configure firewalld, which in turn uses *iptables tool* to communicate with
*Netfilter* in the kernel which implements packet filtering".
So is the goal for firewalld to implement a GUI for iptables? What is the

One more clue, maybe...
The stack dump message is white text on black background. Right
above the stack dump message, still in yellow-on-blue from the PXELINUX
settings, is the text:
Building the boot loader arguments
Relocating the loader and the BTX
Starting the BTX loader
<change to white-on-black>
BTX loader 1.00 BTX version is 1.01

Would that business of "arguments...

request_oplock_break - a clue - what does it mean ?
Hi all,
I increased the log level, and found something very interesting out.
I know now what causes a sbmd to go into infinite hibernation on
Solaris. I do not know why, it is probably something Solaris specific,
I thought that a "dont descend" would have resolved my problem, but
it has not. details at the end.
