Register Allocation and Scheduling Issues
Hello,
I have defined 8 registers in registerinfo.td file in the following order:
R_0, R_1, R_2, R_3, R_4, R_5, R_6, R_7
But the generated assembly code only uses 2 registers. How to enable it to
use all 8? Also can i control the ordering like after R_0 can i use R_5
without changes in registerinfo.td?
What changes are required here? either in scheduling or register allocation
phases?

[LLVMdev] Make a comparation with IR builder
Hi All,
I'm writing a code generation with my compiler. I read sever example and
documentation but I did understand what I make wrong.
What I try to do is a compare a local variable with a constant.
But when I create a ICMP instruction I get that instruction are not of
same type.
I'm using llvm by svn repository updated at two week ago.
The code that I try to generation is something

[LLVMdev] Make a comparation with IR builder
Hi Justin,
my class is a visitor pattern and I use accept method to go recursive in
suboject in my AST.
In locals I store AllocaInst pointer.
void *visit(var1_init_decl_c *symbol) {
llvm::Type *lType;
varNames.clear();
varType = "";
symbol->var1_list->accept(*this); /* get a vector contains variable names */
symbol->spec_init->accept(*this); /* Store in

you're not showing enough code. What does accept() do?
Based on your description, I strongly suspect that your alloca and constant
are not the same type. Remember that alloca returns a pointer type that
you must load to get at the actual variable.

PR#1132.
Just now I again had occasion to want nested describe lists in a
documentation file. I found that the bug which I reported on 18
October, 2001 still persists. I checked on the bug report at the R
web page, and found that the notes say ``Not a problem in R 1.4.0
(2001-12-08)''.
Well, it's still a problem for me --- using R 1.4.1.

AVX Scheduling and Parallelism
Hi, Zvi,
I agree. In the context of targeting the KNL, however, I'm a bit
concerned about the addressing, and specifically, the size of the
resulting encoding:

AVX Scheduling and Parallelism
Hi Ahmed,
>From what can be seen in the code snippet you provided, the reuse of XMM0 and XMM1 across loop-unroll instances does not inhibit instruction-level parallelism.
Modern X86 processors use register renaming that can eliminate the dependencies in the instruction stream. In the example you provided, the processor should be able to identify the 2-vloads + vadd + vstore sequences as

Durbin Watson stat for ser. corr
Dear R People:
Do any of the linear model or regression function calculate the
Durbin-Watson test statistic for serial correlation, please?
I found the hat matrix, studentized residuals, and so on,
but no D-W.
Thanks so much!

ApEn (Approximate Entropy), Total Corr, Information Interaction
Is there any existing implementation in R/S of :
1] Pincus & Kalman's approximate entropy (ApEn) measure
2] Total Correlation / Multiinformation
3] Information Interaction
A search doesn't quite reveal anything, but I'd be keen to not
reinvent in case someone has worked on it. Many thanks in
anticipation.

RE: Can you assist me? I have seen yours and Jennifer Fountains corr espondence
1. What version of samba? You should be trying 2.2.5 or 2.2 6 for one of
the more stable winbind releases.
2. Are you running NIS? Try changing the winbind separator to _
(underscore)
3.. Did you put winbind in your nsswitch.conf file? If so, did you force
the system to re-read that info (happens automatically on solaris, must
run nsadmin restart on Irix, don't know about other

H-F corr.: covariance matrix for interaction effect
Hi,
I'm still not quite there with my H-F (G-G) correction code. I have it
working for the main effects, but I just can't figure out how to do it
for the effect interactions. The thing I really don't know (and can't
find anything about) is how to calculate the covariance matrix for the
interaction between the two (or even n) main factors.
I've looked through some books

lm() with spearman corr option ?
Hi,
A following function was kindly provided by GGally?s maintainer, Barret Schloerke.
function(data, mapping, ...) {
p <- ggplot(data = data, mapping = mapping) +
geom_point(color = I("blue")) +
geom_smooth(method = "lm", color = I("black"), ...) +

Non linear programming: choose R that minimizes corr(y, x^R)
I am looking for a package that will allow me to choose R (a real number) that minimizes the correlation of y and x^R, i.e.
find R such that corr(y,x^R) is minimized. Any suggestions for packages I might look at would be helpful.
Thanks,

"attach" in R corr. to Spus one
Hi,
I am a newbie to R, just trying to switch from
Splus. I am wondering to know if there is any such
command in R as "attach" in Splus which can be used to
attach the full directory.
Also, any idea/referrence about, how to load c
functions in R would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Utsav

I am trying to install asterisk on fedora core 3 these are the steps i took:
1. download asterisk-1.0.7.tar.gz
2. make clean and make install and then it gives me these errors:
