Query: What is 'Trellis'?
I'm an R-beginner and have found the function 'panel.mathdensity' in the full manual. R can't find the function and under 'Description' in the manual it says that they "are available in Trellis". What is it and where can I find the function? Regards, M?rten M?rten Bjellerup Doctoral Student in Economics School of Management and Economics V?xj? University

Fitting a 3-parameter gammadistribution
I have 'grouped' data, that is in the form of: Interval Median 0-9.9%: -25 10-19.9%: 0 20-29.9%: 3 30-39.9%: 10 40-49.9%: 50 50-59.9%: 200 et cetera and want to fit a three parameter gamma distribution. Does anyone know of an existing routine for doing this (or something similar)? Any help or comment is much appreciated. Regards, M?rten M?rten

Query: weighting cells in histogram
I have the 'breaks' for the histogram ('hist') but I want weight the cells instead of using actual observations. I thought that using freq=FALSE implied that the numbers in 'x' were weights but this turned out to be wrong. Any help and/or comment is very much appreciated. extract the data that match
Hi r-users,   I would like to extract the data that match.  Attached is my data: I'm interested in matchind the value in column 'intg' with value in column 'rand_no' > cbind(z=z,intg=dd,rand_no = rr)             z  intg rand_no    [1,]  0.00 0.000   0.001    [2,]  0.01 0.000   0.002    [3,]  0.02 0.000   0.002    [4,]  0.03 0.000   0.003    [5,]  0.04 0.000   0.003    [6,]

Questions about lexical scope
Dear R-users, The numerical integration example given in Gentleman and Ihaka (2000), "Lexical Scope and Statistical Computing," JCGS, 9, 491-508, is very interesting and helpful in understanding how lexical scope is about. However, I got some questions that I just can't figure out. First all, allow me to copy the two functions given by the authors: midpoint <- function(f, a,

Problemas con psych y Rgraphviz
Hola a tod@s, ayer mismo gracias a CarlosJ.

kernlab:ksvm:eps-svr: bug?
Hi, A. In a nutshell: The training error, obtained as "error (ret)", from the return value of a ksvm () call for a eps-svr model is (likely) being computed wrongly. "nu-svr" and "eps-bsvr" suffer from this as well. I am attaching three files: (1) ksvm.R from the the kernlab package, un-edited, (2) ksvm_eps-svr.txt: (for easier reading) containing only eps-svr

Confused on how to do a machinefunction pass
Hi, So, I run my pass in X86 target with llc command and it printed out "hello****". Now I am trying to do the same pass for ARM target. So I did exactly what I did for X86 as mentioned in my previous posts. When I run the following command: llc -march=arm test.ll -o test nothing prints out. I did the same for MIPS target too and I got no result. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing

Confused on how to do a machinefunction pass
Yes, I have done exactly the same. The wawanalyzer is the same. I changed ARM.h and ARMTargetMachine.cpp in the tager/arm folder. then I make tool/llc and lib folder. Why does LLVM keep some loads in the loops even after applying the O3 optimization?
Ryan Taylor via llvm-dev <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> writes: > r0 gets overwritten inside the loop (assuming dst, src, src), is ldr > r0, [r5] needed to initialize r0 for the loop at each iteration? Register allocation should handle that if the load is hoisted. I'm with the others. The printf is the most likely culprit. -0David > On Thu, Mar 28, 2019

Confused on how to do a machinefunction pass
Dear John, Thank you so much for your help. I looked at those documents. Could you kindly answer the following questions: Does it mean that I have to make my own backend target in order to write a machine pass even if I want to run a simple machinefunction pass? for example,if I want my pass to get MIPS instructions as an input, I have to copy all the files from mips target and add a file to it

get instruction destination register
Dear Tim, Thank you for your thorough reply. So, based on your reply I get every operand and check them to be (isDef && !isimplicit). Now my problem is that it gives me the physical register number.i.e, for example, instead of r0, it return %physreg66. Could you please help me on how to convert these physical register number to the ARM related register? I mean the 15 GPRs in ARM. Thank

Discriminating between experiments with xyplot (lattice)
Hi, suppose I have data from 3 experiments which show conversion as a function of time for different boundary conditions, e.g. pressure, temperature. I want to plot all experiments as conversion over time grouped according to the temperature. However, since I have more than one experiment performed at the same temperature (but different pressures) I end up figuring out which curve belongs

MachineModule pass
Hello everyone, As I mentioned in my previous posts,I am using a machinefunction pass to find all the loops in the program and do some analysis on them. I have completed my pass now and it works correctly. but the only issue is that,I have noticed that if I have two functions in my program, and one of them is part of the loop for another one ,by using runonmachinefunction(), I will get one loop

Add Call instruction in IR for a non-existing function
Hello everyone, I am trying to add checkpoints to my IR code. In order to do that I need to add this instruction: call void @m5_checkpoint(i64 0, i64 0) to some of the basic blocks in my benchmark. m5_checkpoint is a function defined for checkpointing in another simulator and is not included in my benchmark source code. So I need to create this instruction and I couldn't figure out how to do

get instruction destination register
Hello everyone, I am trying to write a code to do the following: 1. Get an ARM machine instruction 2. Find destination register of that instruction that has been written 3. set a bit in a vector, according to that register number. (Since it's ARM, I have a 15 bit vector) It means if I have : add r0, r1, r0 I want to get r0 as dest reg and set the index 0 of my vector to 1. I get my machine
