help in fortran code
I would like to get the fortran code for the functions locpol and dpill in the kernsmooth library , the purpose is to incorporate other selection criterion for the bandwidth in which a varying bandwidths are replaced instead of the constant bandwidth. I will send you back the improved version as soon as I get the fortran code for the upper mention functions. ((LOCPOLY and DPILL )))

Simple operation on a subset of data
Sorry for the silly question. I am trying to perform a simple operation on a subsample of my data loaded as data and attached: data<-read.dta(name file) attach(data) Say x=1,2 and y=4,5 I want to summarize z only if x=1 & y=4. I thought that the way to do that would be to write if((x=1) & (y=4)) summary(z) butwhen I do this the result I get is for the whole data (irrespective of

Prediction method for lowess,loess,lokerns,lpepa,ksmooth
Hi Every Body, I don't know why some regression functions have no related prediction function. For example lowess, loess, lokerns, lpridge, lpepa, and ksmooth. What could help? Is there any global or wrapper function so that can help? Regards, Amir Safari --------------------------------- [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

need help with smooth.spline
Dear R listers, When using smooth.spline to interpolate data, results are generally good. However, some cases produce totally unreasonable results. The data are values of pressure, temperature, and salinity from a probe that is lowered into the ocean, and the objective is to interpolate temperature and salinity to specified pressures. While smooth.spline provides excellent values at the

User profiles question
Hi, I'm facing an issue where most users receive the error "The Group Policy Client service failed the logon. Access denied.". The fix so far is to delete a registry folder on the client machine, but there are cases where this does not work. For one user, I had to delete the account and create it again. The domain uses 3 centos7 + samba 4.5.5, with a fileserver running 4.4.4.

loess and locpoly
Dear list, I've got a question concerning difference between loess and locpoly. I have to use a plug-in method to chose a bandwith so I take locpoly method to fit a curve. My problem is:I know how to get predicted values in loess: m=loess(y~x) y_fitted=predict(m). But how to get the same in locpoly? I computed like this: bw=dpill(x, y, blockmax = 5, divisor = 20,trim = 0.01, proptrun =

[LLVMdev] LoopPass symbol error
Hello, I am building a loop pass following these instructions: http://llvm.org/docs/WritingAnLLVMPass.html Everything works fine, I did it many times for Function Passes, but in the runOnLoopmethod, whenever I call a method of the loop L passed as argument, for example L->begin(), I get the following error: opt: symbol lookup error: /home/giacomo/llvmcsfv/Debug+Asserts/lib/Acsl.so: >

I have create the y(-1) variable in this way: ly<-lag(y, -1) Now if I do the following regression lm (y ~ x + ly) the results I obtain are not correct. [LLVMdev] Z3 and loadable optimization
I created a loadable optimization following the tutorial at http://llvm.org/docs/WritingAnLLVMPass.html. I want to use the Z3 library, installed in my system, in my optimization. When I include z3++.h (the name of the library) in the code and use its classes, it compiles well, but when I try to run it it says: > opt: symbol lookup error: /home/giacomo/llvm/Debug+Asserts/lib/Acsl.so: >
