Testing memory limits in R??
Hello Everyone,
We have recently purchased a server which has 64GB of memory running
a 64bit OS and I have compiled R from source with the following config
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/R-2.9.1 --enable-Rshlib
--enable-BLAS-shlib --enable-shared --with-readline --with-iconv
--with-x --with-tcktk --with-aqua --with-libpng --with-jpeglib
and I would like to verify that I can use

SVG format from any R graphic GUI?
I have problems with emf files because OpenOffice does
a poor job at importing figures in this format. On the other
hand, imported eps figures are not displayed, just printed.
Is there any R graphic gui able to export as SVG (or
other vector format)? I've
tried JGR, iplots and svGUI.

acts_as_taggable
Hello All,
I have a table for which i need to tag and i am applying
acts_as_taggable for that
I have a table called localities and I created a table called tags
and tags_localities ,Now my requirement is i need to create new tags
and i should be able to add sub tags to the new tags
So its basically applying Tagging on tags agian
can any one give me a idea of how can i do this

Custom desktop menu entries: weird behavior with menu categories
Hi,
For my client's desktops, I'm usually customizing the various Linux
desktops I'm installing. I'm using custom icon themes (Elementary),
custom system fonts (Droid Sans), and one of the things I also customize
