problems using effects.morph && effect.appear
Hi, i wrote a sliding navigation using effect.morph and effect.appear. I don''t know why but there are a couple of problems: 1. effect.appear seems not to work in IE6 2. plotting 3 functions on same graph
hi all, I wish to draw on the same graphic device 3 functions. But i don't want them to be on different graph, i want to compare them on the same I don't need mfrow or mfcol, I need something else... 1 graph on 1 device inside this graph 3 ploted function. I saw something unsing data.frame, but i think it's overkill, and something less complicated must exist, if not why? why not

controlling figure dimension/location
I'm making two plots, one on top of the other. On the upper plot, I do not print the x-label or the x-tick-label. To reduce space, I'd like to keep the white space between the two figures at a minimum. However, I can't figure out how to methodically reduce the space while maintaining the same figure dimensions for both plots. I could add margin space below the lower plot and reduce

I would like to convert a C file that uses OpenMP library to X86 code with a condition: I want to insert a NOP before each instruction that does a private memory access.I have written an optimization pass that inserts an inline assembly call (NOP) but it is applied at IR level, and I cannot determine where to insert it. "Normal" plot and xyplot side by side in one figure?
Hi list, I want to place a plot (eg "plot(1:10)") and a xyplot side by side in one figure. The two columns should have different widths. If I'm not missing something, this rules out the standard way: par(mfcol=n). memory error in for loop
hi, I have been attempting to run this script and am getting some strange results. The script connects to a database and retrieves a series of tables, using sequential sql statements. plotting results from tapply
Hi, there I'm trying to plot what is returned from a call to tapply, and can't figure out how to do it. My guess is that it has something to do with the inclusion of row names when you ask for the values you're interested in, but if anyone has any ideas on how to get it to work, that would be stellar. Plotting question
I am constructing plots ( regular not lattice ) and my initial command is par(mar=c(3,4,2,2), mfcol=c(5,2)) and then I create 10 plots on the page. It looks great but the plots on the page go in the order 1 6 2 7 3 8 4 9 5 10 Where the numbers denote decile breakdowns. Is there an easy way to make them go from left to right so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 I could try
