Return values in fExtremes package
Hi,
I was usuing the fExtemes package, and wanted to obtain some of the values returned from the function gumbelFit(). For example, in the following code, I would like to access 'mu' and 'beta' from the object 'para'. How should I go about doing this? Is there any generic method to access the object?

fExtreme packages
Hello,
I am a new user of R. I am trying to use the packages fBasics and fExtremes
when i am running the examples I get few error. Could someone tell me what is
happenig? Thank you beforehand.

R: to the power
hi all
why does R do this:
(-8)^(1/3)=NaN
the answer should be : -2
a silly question but i kept on getting errors in some of my code due to this
problem.
i solve the problem as follows:
say we want : (-a)^(1/3)
then : sign(a)*(a^(1/3)) works
but there has to be a simpler way of soing such a simple mathematical operation.

thought might be of interest to members of this list
as both run over Asterisk:
The first is a calling card application that covers
needs in that area: scratch number generation, call
termination via least-cost route (i.e. multiple
termination providers), etc. We have tested this with

Saving fExtremes estimates and k-block return level with confidence intervals.
I am estimating a large model by groups. How do you save the results and?returns
the associated quantiles?

In commit 365a7150094 ([SCSI] virtio-scsi: hotplug support for
virtio-scsi), hotplug support is added to virtio-scsi.
This patch adds hotplug and hotunplug support to tcm_vhost.
You can create or delate a LUN in targetcli to hotplug or hotplug a LUN
in guest.
