Multiple line plots
Greetings, I would like to plot three lines on the same figure, and I am lost. There is an answer to a similar thread… but I tried matplot and it is beyond me. An example of the data follows: Year EM IM BM 1983 9.1 16.8 -7.7 1984 12.0 18.0 -6.0 1985 13.6 19.1 -5.5 1986 12.4 17.3 -4.9 1987 14.6 20.3 -5.7 1988 20.6 23.3 -2.6 1989 25.0 27.2 -2.2 1990 28.4 30.2 -1.8 1991 33.3 31.2 2.1 1992 40.6

Can one set box line width within the matplot command?
Hello R users -- I am using matplot to prepare graphs and cannot find a way to use (for example) box(lwd=3) within the matplot command and instead have been setting the box line width after drawing the graph, by using box(lwd = 3). Looking over the ?par options and the matplot() help I do not see a way to set box width within matplot. Is there such an option? Thanks for suggestions,

[LLVMdev] Argument Lowering
Rather than trying to have LLVM codegen take care of ABI issues (which means passing all kinds of extra information in the IR), another possibility is to have LLVM provide a helper library for generating correct IR. You would say to the library: my parameter is a union type with these fields (described using C/C++ language concepts such as unions, POD etc), and it would tell you what IR to output

how to plot multiple density functions in one graph
Hello, I am new to R and have two easy questions. How can you plot multiple density functions in one graph? I have five beta densities that I would like to plot in one graph. I understand how to plot one beta density as a line: plot (x,(dbeta(x,shape1=,shape2=,), type ="l") Does the Pareto distribution need to be added to R with an additional package? thanks, John [[alternative
