Start Model for POLYCLASS
Dear all, I have a question on how to set up the starting model in POLYCLASS and make sure the terms in the starting model retained in the final POLYCLASS model. In the function POLYMARS, this can be done using the STARTMODEL option. See below for example, I started with model y= b0 + b1*X1 + b2*X2 + b3*X4 + b4*X5 + b5*X2*X5 + e > m00 <- matrix(c( 1, NA, 0, NA, 1, 2,

In that respect I took a simple and small example from the net (the "hello world", one) to interface R with C. I have a Windows XP OS using R.2.5.0 and in that regard I have installed the Perl and RTools files to my PC. I also wrote a proper path file, as suggested. The C program is:

This doesn't really fix your problem, you just removed the signs of it. The order of the files in /etc/dovecot/conf.d matters. Please provide the following: doveconf -n grep -B2 -A1 'mail_plugins

Hello, Everyone, I am a student an a new learner of R and I am trying to do my homework in R. I have 10 files need to be read and process seperately. I really want to write the codes into something like "macro" to save the lines instead of repeating 10 times of similar work. lasso based selection for mixed model
Dear useRs (called Frank Harrell, most likely), after having preached for years to my medical colleagues to be cautious with stepwise selection procedures, they chanted back asking for an alternative when using mixed models. There is a half dozen laXXX packages around for all types of linear models, but as far I see there is none for mixed models such as lme. Even boot.stepAIC (which I

R package dependency issues when namespace is not attached
I have always assumed that having a package in the 'Depends' field would automatically also?import?the namespace. However, it seems that in R 2.15, dependencies do not become available until the package is actually?attached?to the searchpath. Is this intended behavior? The problem appears as follows: Suppose there is a package 'Child' which?Depends, but does not explicitly
