NA's in if statement
Hello, I am having trouble dealing with NA values in if statements such as: i<-1 for(i in 1:length(dat$wdir)){ if (dat$wspd[i]==0){ dat$wdir[i]<-0 } } I get the following error due to the presence of NS values in the data: Error in if (dat$wspd[i] == 0) { : missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed Sorry if this is an old question but I was unable to resolve this from the info on na.action

melting columns
Hello, I'm using R to run a acoustic analysis software called Seewave. I ask the code to extract a list of variables from my recording, and the program give ONE table for each of these. The tables consist of a two column data.frame with the time in column 1 and the frequency in column 2. However, for my purpose I need only one column with the time first and the frequency second. I tried

Random Sample - data frame
I would like to create a random sample of the rows of a data frame that is larger than the number of rows in the data frame. With an individual vector, this is easy using select(variable, number, replace = TRUE). I looked on-line I found some guides to sample from a data frame using indexing, but I don't seem to be able to get the results that I want. # Example: name <- c("andy",

[Gluster-devel] Integration of GPU with glusterfs
It is disappointing to see the limitation being put by Nvidia on low cost GPU usage on data centers. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/01/03/nvidia_server_gpus/ We thought of providing an option in glusterfs by which we can control if we want to use GPU or not. So, the concern of gluster eating out GPU's which could be used by others can be addressed. --- Ashish ----- Original

Gluster 3.8.13 data corruption
OK. Is this problem unique to templates for a particular guest OS type? Or is this something you see for all guest OS? Also, can you get the output of `getfattr -d -m . -e hex <path>` for the following two "paths" from all of the bricks: path to the file representing the vm created off this template wrt the brick. It will usually be $BRICKPATH/xxxx....xx/images/$UUID where $UUID

[ovirt-users] Very poor GlusterFS performance
Dear Krutika, Sorry for asking so naively but can you tell me on what factor do you base that the client and server event-threads parameters for a volume should be set to 4? Is this metric for example based on the number of cores a GlusterFS server has? I am asking because I saw my GlusterFS volumes are set to 2 and would like to set these parameters to something meaningful for performance
