BIND DLZ zone transfers
I am looking at: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/DNS_administration
I am using bind 9.9 on all my DNS servers.
To set up secondarying my Samba DNS zones to my other Bind servers. I
come across the following:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9634
Is it possible to transfer the DLZ zones now as dates on this bug are 2
years old?

Maybe working - Re: BIND DLZ zone transfers
Hi Robert,
yes it does work. But the DLZ bind will not notify any slaves, when the
repository changes. This can be painful, especially for longer TTL values.

- lars.

Logo Nouveau
Dear community members,
Im a graphic designer and for the last couple of months I have been working on a new logo for the Nouveau project. After sending preliminary designs to both Martin Peres and Ilia Mirkin, we have decided to share the logo in order to gather your feedback.
I would like to highlight that the logo incorporates a penguin corresponding to the linux kernel components used to

Abline in dotplot
Hello,
I have trouble adding an abline to a dotplot() from "lattice" package.
For example, I would like to draw a line at x=3:

> dotplot(sample(x))

Produces a line on the left hand side of the origin. What would be a

pairs, panel.functions, xlim and ylim
Hi,
I have the following problem.
I wanted to get a matrix of scatterplots and I used pairs.
I wanted to add the line y=x in each plot and I created a panel
function for this scope.
I used points and abline in the following way:
## put y=x in each plot
panel.lin<- function(x, y)
{
points(x,y, pch=21, bg=par("bg"), col = "black",cex=2)

Unless you're doing something unsual, why not just run a second DC with
it's own DNS server and let Samba handle it? You

Is there some option on the slave to set the frequency of the AXFR? Say
every hour?

axis colors in pairs plot
The following command produces red axis line in a pairs
plot:
pairs(iris[1:4], main = "Anderson's Iris Data -- 3 species",
pch = "+", col = c("red", "green3", "blue")[unclass(iris$Species)])
Trying to fool pairs in the following way produces the
same plot as above:

pairs() Legend
Hi,
Is it possible to create a legend in a pairs() plot?
For example, suppose I have the following R codes:
data(iris)
pairs(iris[1:4], main = "Anderson's Iris Data -- 3 species",
pch = 21, bg = c("red", "green3", "blue")[codes(iris$Species)])
How can I created a legend that shows which colour represents to which
Iris species?
Thanks,

display p-values and significance levels
Hi there,
I got a piece of code for the Iris data which allows to display correlation
coefficients for each Iris species in the lower panel (color coded). I would
now like to add e.g. a "*" to show the significance of each correlation next
to the correlation coefficient.
Furthermore I would like to make a t.test between the species "setosa" and
"versicolor" for

Logo Nouveau
Hi Valeria,
Very nice logo! Nice job! I like the ideas and the font. :)
Just few remarks about the visual appearance:
- A horizontally centered penguin would be better as the left part of
the "n" appears thiner than the right one
- The bottom line of the "e" appears a little short to me
Thanks
Christian
