Anybody know a way to enlarge a filesystem ext3 without having to unmounted it, when they are still space left in the volume group (when using LVM) ? I will be running large production linux system running Oracle. I can't stop the database everytime I have to enlarge a filesystem. We can do it with all others filesystems (JFS, REISERSFS and XFS) when they are created in a volume group. Why

Hi all, I need to enlarge te fonts used oo R-plots (plots, histograms, ...) in labels and titles etc. I seem to be unable to figure out how to do it. The problem is that the titles of the plots are simply unreadable when I insert them into my LaTeX text, since they are relatively small compared to the entire plot. I am sure it is pretty simple, can anybody give me a hint ? Please reply

This patch enlarges the PCI GART aperture to 512 MB. The current 64MB aperture is too small and should be enlarged. The optimal amound may be card/system-dependent, so a more sophisticated approach may be preferable. In particular, if RAMIN is less than 1MB, a 512MB aperture won't fit. I'm using the image.plot() function (fields package), but I want to enlarge the characters of the legend (as they are too small to be read in a combined figure), but there is no way I can find a command to do this.
