testing two-factor anova effects using model comparison approach with lm() and anova()
I wonder if someone could explain the behavior of the anova() and lm() functions in the following situation: I have a standard 3x2 factorial design, factorA has 3 levels, factorB has 2 levels, they are fully crossed. Randomization of a two-way ANOVA?
Hello list, I wish to perform a randomization test on the F-statistics of a 2 way ANOVA but have not been able to find out how to do so - is there a package / function that can perform this that I am unaware of? difference in order() between Linux and Windows with mixtures of caps and normal letters
Could anybody explain this difference in the function order() between R under windows and R under Linux ? It seems that under Linux the order in of character dsitinguishes between caps and normal letters and sorts them starting with the capitals (see below). strange behaviour of certain fields in data frame after rbind
Can anybody explain me what is going wrong with the rbind command or how I could avoid the problem? I have a script with loops which time has a dataframe as output (called T2sbdata). Maybe I do not explain well what I would like to do. I do not want to change the labels of the axis, but the scale. What I want is a general procedure for changing the scale. Textile/RedCloth and h() incompatible?
If a user enters the Textile-based code for an image, say: !>graphic.png! the textile() method will successfully render a right-float image. Now, if I want to escape the user''s text using h(), the ''>'' is turned into an &amp;. Obviously, the image then fails to render in a browser. Is there a work around for this? Adding text to both grid and base graphs
Dear all, I'm stuck with the following problem: I generate graphs using both the grid system (with lattice) and the base system.
