future time stamps warning
Time stamps are correct and my system time is correct.
I am now tried to use Sys.setFileTime() to update time stamps as proposed.
This does not help.
The windows and debian builds give different reports on the time stamp
issue.

include/exclude: I miss the point
Hi all,
I thought I understand how include/exclude and their precedences work (I
read the user guide about this), but I seem to miss something.
I have 2 questions about this, separated by ======

future time stamps warning
Dear developers,
Upon CRAN submission I have bumped into "future file timestamps" warning
that I can't solve. I have updated the package as usual, and all checks go
through in my system. CRAN reports the following warning however.

high cpu load
I think I have narrowed down the problem why smbd processes are soaking
up so much CPU on our file server. Here are some selected samples from
strace output as I attached to the offending smbd process:
Culprit #1
I took three sample snapshots, each lasted for several seconds, and I
took them
minutes apart from each other. I noticed many lines involved stat'ing

I think so - 40.8 volts with a nominal of 36 volts is 13.6 V/cell, which agrees with the 100% charge value. Hopefully the line voltages and frequency make sense for your region.

net drive mapping not working in login script
I've set the path for each user in pdbedit and created a login script with drive mapping etc etc
The network drives aren't being mapped when I login each user:
smb.conf
[global]
printcap name = cups
cups options = raw
map to guest = Bad User
# include = /etc/samba/dhcp.conf
logon path = \\%L\profiles\.msprofile
logon home = \\%L\%U\.9xprofile

nut package with Riello UPS support
Thank you very much!!
I have tried configure downloaded source with
# ./configure --with-user=_ups --with-group=_ups
--with-statepath=/var/db/nut/
and then build driver and copy again. but this doesn't help (driver pid
still in the /var/state/ups).
Maybe I must add more arguments to change driver's pid location, but I did
next, I changed this argument in openbsd ports:
# pkg_delete nut

Problems with config of newhidups
Hi all,
I just downloaded, built and installed nut-2.0.4-pre2. I have an APC
Smart ups 3000 connected via a usb cable. I have compiled and installed
the usb drivers.
I installed the libhidups and libhid.usermap per the README.
I have the following ups.conf:

driver = newhidups
port = auto
desc = "APC smart 3000"
When I try to start the driver I get the

Samba4 CUPS: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED opening remote file
I'm setting up cups printing with Samba 4.0.5.
I downloaded both the windows drivers and the postscript drivers and put them into /usr/share/cups/drivers/.
I configured cups through the web interface. Created a printer and printed a test page.
I edited smb.conf and put in the necessary entries for cups printing:

Compiling 3.2.4 --with-krb5=/usr/lib/krb5, not working
Hi all,
I'm currently attempting to compile Samba 3.2.4 for Solaris 10 x86. I
require krb5 support and I realised that it would not look in the
correct default location, under Solaris 10.
Example, from ./configure --help:
--with-krb5=base-dir Locate Kerberos 5 support (default=/usr)
In vanilla Solaris 10 x86, Kerberos libraries are stored in /usr/lib/
krb5. I thought it best to

State of Gluster 3.4 alpha 3 NFS ACL support
Wonder if someone can point me in the right direction here - just
built some new bricks running gluster 3.4 alpha 3 (from
http://download.gluster.org) with the objective of testing them to
replace some existing 3.2 systems in production.
The main thing I was after was NFS ACL support, however on getting
everything setup, I still don't seem to be able to see POSIX extended
ACLs on the

Zaptel install...
I am having trouble getting Asterisk to compile the zaptel stuff.
Here are the specifics:
Linux Kernel 2.5.9-42.0.8.EL
Asterisk 1.4.0
I compiled libpri, zaptel, asterisk and asterisk-addons (in that
order). This is a fresh install of CentOS. Following the CentOS
install, I did "yum -y update" until there were no updates left.
Here is my src directory:
