plot.ts
I have problems getting sensible series name plotted with the ts.plot function. It doesn't seem to use either ylab= or xy.labels= arguments. I ended up using plot({arg <- ts.union(gasolina.eq, PIBmensPred, PIBgrowthmens) ; colnames(arg) <- c("Gaso" ,"PIB", "PIBgrowth");arg }, main="Gasolina eq. con crecimiento Economico",

xtable
Hi, How do I build a table from a regression model adjusted using xtable? Commands are: modelo1 = lm(Y~X1 + X2) influencia = influence.measures(modelo1) require(xtable) xtable(influencia) but it isn't work. Excel "Disk Full" when overwriting file
Help, I'm using: Operating System: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (i586) VERSION = 10 PATCHLEVEL = 1 Upgraded Samba to: Samba version 3.0.26a-SerNet-SuSE On a windows machine the user can see the directories and files. They can access the files in say excel but when they go to save the changes it gives them a message of Disk Full. New Files they can save, no problem. If they pull

fitting generalized linear models using glmmPQL
Hi, I have tried to run the following (I know it's a huge data set but I tried to perform it with a 1 GB RAM computer): library(foreign) library(MASS) library(nlme) datos<-read.spss(file="c:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrador\\Escritorio\\datosfin.sav",to.data.frame=TRUE) str(datos) `data.frame': 1414 obs. of 5 variables: $ POB : Factor w/ 6 levels

how to extract data by specific months from a monthly ts object
Hi, I am trying to extract data from a ts object by month, e.g., extract Jan, Feb, and Aug data from a monthly ts object. I tried the following but it didn't work: > xa=1:50 > ta=ts(xa,start=c(1990,1),frequency=12) > ta[cycle(ta)==c(1,2)] # this method works but it's not what I want [1] 1 2 13 14 25 26 37 38 49 50 > ta[cycle(ta)==c(1,2,8)] # this method doesn't work,

[RFC, PATCH 22/24] i386 Consolidate redundant timer code
Isolate some of the non-VMI timer related changes in Linux. This patch moves the cyc_2_ns conversion code into a common location, eliminating redundant code in hpet and tsc timer implementations, and introduces some macros that may be redefined by the sub-architecture to avoid dependence on APIC routing, CMOS time sync, and testing for broken time hardware (which presumably, does not happen in a

predict 3

[PATCH/RFC] replace get_scheduled_cycles with sched_clock paravirt_op
Subject: Add a sched_clock paravirt_op The tsc-based get_scheduled_cycles interface is not a good match for Xen's runstate accounting, which reports everything in nanoseconds. This patch replaces this interface with a sched_clock interface, which matches both Xen and VMI's requirements. In order to do this, we: 1. replace get_scheduled_cycles with sched_clock 2. hoist cycles_2_ns
