Asterisk with Lucent TNT echo
I'm running SIP between my Lucent TNT acting as a gateway, and an
asterisk server. We have a PRI coming into the Lucent. Basically the
problem I'm having is mostly on inbound calls but some outbound calls as
well. I hear echo and sometimes some weird artifacting on calls coming
in from the lucent. Everything routed over IAX to VoIP Jet or Nufone
sounds fine. It seems like every 3

Lucent iMerge
I've read the wiki and other resources on how to connect Vonage / Voicepulse
and all these other services to Asterisk... We are attempting a connection
to a Lucent iMerge. Lucent has told us that it won't work - but we feel
confident that it will. Has anyone worked with the Lucent iMerge - or would
be willing to help lend a hand?
It is capable of H323 / MGCP. Even if I could make the

Chris,
My experience has been that the APX and TNT products require a single
SIP proxy, how are you load balancing 2500 calls?

OT: Are you using a Lucent?
Is anyone out there using Lucent brand equipment to handle an incomming
DS3, converting all 672 calls to SIP (as G729) and sending those to
Asterisk/SER over ethernet?
If you are and are willing to speak to my boss about your experiences
(over the phone) with it, please contact me off list.
We have a possible contract with a local CLEC to handle their long
distance, and they want to send to

Asterisk connecting to a proprietry PBX
Hi guys,
I'm interconnecting an Asterisk box with a Lucent Definity PBX by
means of FXO/FXS ports on a TDM2400 card. Everything works well,
except for one little thing. Every now and then somebody (from an
Asterisk extension) will call another extension on the Lucent Definity
PBX and they hit their voicemail. They caller leaves their message (or
not) and hangup, BUT the Lucent sometimes

Lucent and ISDN-PRI
Hi Everyone,
So I have been further exploring the integration of our asterisk server and
our lucent definity g3si system. I took the suggestion of setting up an
isdn-pri line added the two way tie trunk and the signalling group, but
can't seem to get the PRI signalling working on the asterisk correctly. I've
set pri type to network on the lucent, and pri_cpe in zapata on the
asterisk, but

Asterisk Integration with Lucent Definity g3 si
We have had quite a bit of success with our T100P and TE410P cards
interfacing to Nortel Meridian PBXes and also to a Livingston Portmaster 3
using ESF/B8ZS and various combinations of E&M wink and ISDN PRI (usually in
5ESS mode).
In the near future, I may also need to interface to a Definity via a T1. I
was planning to use PRI--is that an option for you on your switch?

Premature DRQ
I have a problem where an Asterisk server is sending a premature DRQ... Not
sure why..
Here's the setup - Asterisk using inAccess networks H323 replacement channel
driver
Connecting to a Lucent iMerge...
The call connects fine - I get the out of the box greeting - but after
exactly one
Minute - the call terminates.
I have had this problem on multiple different Asterisk configs...

PRI protocol question...
I'm having difficulty getting a PRI working between asterisk and a Merlin
Legend. I have been attempting to get it going as esf, b8zs & 5ess (although
I have tried other switchtypes...). I found the following info in the Legend
docs:
If the switch type is 5ESS, the protocol MUST be set for ATT Custom.
If switch type is DMS-100, the protocol MUST be set for NTNAPRI

Asterisk Integration with Lucent Definity g3si
Hi everyone,
We have been working with Asterisk for a while now and would really
like to expand its capabilities by fully integrating it with our Definity
g3si and are wondering about other peoples experiences with similar setups.
Thus far we have only been able to achieve a partial 1 way integration, but
ultimately would love to route inbound voip calls to the asterisk out of the
lucent.

Wine - Broderbund Print Shop - printing
I am running wine 20050725.
I used winetools to get an assortment
of software loaded and with a bit of tweeking
it worked.
I then ran the install CD for Broderbund
"The Print Shop". It loaded OK and after
copying a few dll's from my windows box, it
came up and ran.
My problem is with printing.
After reading through the users guide on printing

Lucent Partner extension to X100P
Hi All...
I'm currently trying to have an extension of my Lucent Partner phone
system connected to Asterisk using an X100P. The issue I'm having is
that the Lucent Partner analog port connection have different ring and
dialtone than the one specified for US in indications.conf.
Anyone have accomplished this connection before. I need to know what I

GXP-2000 and Shared Line Appearances
I have a client with 20 GXP-2000s. Everything seems to be working
fine. However, after a couple of weeks of use, the client is having a
hard time adjusting to the new IP based phone systems and only misses
one feature from their old Lucent system.
That is, they had 8 analog lines before and all their old Lucent
phones showed a button for each line. So, it was easy for anyone to

users.map changes needed after upgrading from Samba 2.2.8a to 3.0.10?
After upgrading Samba from 2.2.8a to 3.0.10, we find that users
whose Unix login does not match their NT login need to have their
users.map entry changed to include their NT domain name.
e.g.:
grybo = grybowski
had to be changed to
grybo = NA0X/grybowski
I didn't have any luck searching the archives for this
problem occurring for anyone else. Is there something
that needs to be set in my

any ISDN/PRI signaling experts out there?
I have officially engaged in a pissing contest with the local Telco over
PRI calling name delivery.
The telco publishes their calling name delivery over PRI feature as
being bellcore gr-1367-core compliant.
The gr-1367-core spec states that the calling name is to be included as
a facility IE in the setup message, or sent in a subsequent facility IE
message with an indicator in the setup message
