Trouble adding a service principal to keytab
Hi,
I am new to samba and Kerberos so please be gentle!
I have built a samba AD DC (v4.3.5) on Centos Linux from source and am
trying to add a service principal and generate a keytab containing the
principal. However the principal entry does not appear in the keytab.
Here's what I did:

creating a dynamic output vector
Let's say I have a program that returns variables whose names may be any
string within the vector
NAMES=c("varA","varB","varC","varD","varE","varF"..."varZ"), but I do
not ever know which ones have actually been created. So in one example
output, "varA", "varC", and "varD" could exist, but

foreach %do% and %dopar%
Hi everyone,
I'm working on a script trying to use foreach %dopar% but without success,
so I manage to run the code with foreach %do% and looks like this:
The code is part of a MCMC model for projects valuation, returning the most
important results (VPN, TIR, EVA, etc.) of the simulation.
foreach (simx = NsimT, .combine=cbind, .inorder=FALSE, .verbose=TRUE) %do% {

MA parameter in R vs. Minitab
Dear R People:
I ran an ARIMA(1,0,1) on a particular series in R and got a negative
MA(1) estimate.
Then I ran an ARIMA(1,0,1) on the same series in Minitab and got a
positive MA(1) estimate.
The values are about -0.69 and 0.70.
Does R show the opposite value, please?
Thanks,
Erin

function "eigen" AND Minitab
Hi all. I got a question about eigenvector. I've tried input a symmetric
matrix to both R (using eigen function) and minitab, but the result is
really different. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with that?
Thanks.

importing minitab datasets
I'm having trouble using the read.mtp function in the foreign package
to import datasets from minitab (.mtw) format. Specifically, each file
I try to import fails to load any data beyond a header row stating the
version of Minitab that saved the dataset. I get this error:
incomplete final line found by readtableHeader on 'income.mtw'
The dataset appears to be complete (ie, using

Minitab Parametric Distribution Analysis in R
Minitab can perform a "Parametric Distribution Analysis - Arbitrary
Censoring" with one of eight distributions (e.g., weibull), giving the
maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters in the distribution for a
given dataset. Does R have a package that provides equivalent functionality?
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Creating netcdf from table
Hi!
I have a table with 3 columns, 2 for long/lat coordinates and 1 for values
(radon concentration). I have Tables for every week of the year 2006, always
same coordinates but other values, i.e. time series. Now I want to create a
NetCDF file for, which is much easier to handle than 52 tables. I tried the
following for the first dataset (i.e first week):

Dot plot - equivalent of MINITAB
hi folks,
Bit of a newbie, but I've spent a fair bit of time looking for an answer on
this, with no joy. Can anyone help me?
Dataset: A single column of values in a csv file (eg. 52, 53, 54, 85, etc)
Goal: In Minitab, you have what they call a dot plot. It's a histogram,
where a single dot represents a set of identical values (eg. 57, 57, 57
would be one dot). Multiple dots are

Trouble using RSYNC from a SSH terminal
Hi,
I'm setting up mirror server using RSYNC, but I couldn't find the answer...
Why is possible to backup to my local Linux machine and why I couldn't use
the same instruction for backing up through SSH?
I explain: from the command line of my linux machine, I write: rsync -avuzb
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx::resource /home/www and it works properly. When I try to do
the same in another machine

Do we have similar function to Minitab's INDICATOR?

Do we have a similar R function to work like Minitab's INDICATOR?
