Hello, My question is very simple. I have installed R from the internet and I want to use it to analyse my data set. It seems that R is not able to make the connection when I use the read.table () function since it probably doesn't know where is the required file. Where am I suppose to save my file ? I have a proplem reading a file with more that one rows. e.g I used the function: p<-read.table(file="FILENAME ", header=TRUE,sep=";") and later used the data.Frame() function. I have installed RWinEdt and things are going smoothly except for one small glitch - file names are not appearing on the document tabs. When I use WinEdt (as opposed to RWinEdt), they are appearing.
